Epsilon Studios — Hotel in Zakynthos Municipality

My sister and her husband stayed in august 2019 15th till 26th when they are living. Well they are staying in room number 3. That is studio in the middle , the smallest of all and we really think it should not be rented as a studio for two people. It is very small that you could not open the terrace door because of the bed. The refrigator is not cooling well and should be replaced. Well , the toilett was making noise and the taps too. They were fixed after 2 days.The light on the terrace was changed at the end of the stay, the 8th day . The owner is a very nice lady. I met her in June 2019 while I stayed in Epsilon for 10 days in room number 4. She is very kind but that is not enough. Well I had a bigger room and also a big terrace. The restaurant Half way house worked till 10 PM in June and there was not a such a noise like now in August. The problem about Epsilon studio is lack of isolation, actually no real roof is above or just flat roof. Well , the heat in the room is really terrible , you feel like being in the oven . My sister slept on the terrace for few days on the sunbed.... So Maria , you have to pay somebody to make you a real roof with an isolation so the studios won' t be that hot. AC is free but we didn't come to the sea to turn it on. We hardly do it back home.... Mimoza is a lady that cleans all the time. A great hardworking person. She does an enormous work. My sister told me to make this critics. She says 1 - bad for the money she payed. Well , I would say 2- because I was in June in a bigger room and I didn't have a problem with toilet and somthing else. I had a problem with the heat in the room but I handled it by closing the door terrace and going to bed after midnight. All in all the critics are good because people should know how the rooms look like. Also, it is not fair to rent the smalliest room for the price of the others that they are bigger. Make a room as one person studio and than rent it for the price at least 20 % lower in comperi g to the others. Really it is hard to make a turn in it. The positive thing is a safe and AC free of charge. Also mozzy net ( which I have w/ me ) is in the studio. When I was sitting in the terrace I was wondering why it was constructed that way , the East and the South also the West orientation. The owner has a beautiful apartment with the terrace and the view to the sea.... All the studios have the hill orientation.... why???? The sun makes unberriable heat all the day and that is a real ? for the arhitect who made a building plan ( if it has been involved). Anyway, the location is ok , 150 m to the beach but it does not sell an accomodation. There are Zakardis app on the beach , with free sunbeds +sunumbrellas for the guests, and they really represent the example how the app...

Pros: Location: Close to the beach, two markets close by and downstairs you can eat at the restaurant. Cleanliness: Everyday a maid comes to clean the apartment and every second day changes the sheets and towels. Baby cage provided. BBQ Area provided for guests for free.

Cons: Wifi: If you rely heavily on wifi you will kick yourself for choosing Epsilon.. only signal is on the balcony and when you do have signal its not fast and frequently cuts out. Bed: The bed size is decent but it is very uncomfortable. When you lay on your stomach you can feel the spring hurting your ribs. The end of the bed the wood is higher than the matress so you cant stretch your legs. Whoever is 180cm or above wont like this. Noise: Between midnight and 1am they close the restaurant and while they are closing you feel like world war 3 is going on. Every plate and chair that is moved is heard and the roller doors especially. Pool? : They don't have a pool but we did some research for the same price you can get a hotel with a pool ( even cheaper price as well ) TV: Only greek channels provided and tv is probably 22inch or 24inch but should be a 32inch.

All in all the trip was amazing, the apartment was okay, nothing special. Pretty much just a place where you can sleep over.. if you have a small child the outside noise will be a problem.. especially after midnight as I said. The apartment was very clean though and always cleaned which was very important to us, maybe it deserves 3 stars but I see other apartments there with 3 stars and they have a pool and look overall better with a larger hallway and more privacy so guess if I could I would put 2 and a half stars maybe for Epsilon.. but the question is would we stay at Epsilon apartments again?...

We stayed here for two weeks. We liked it. It is basic but its clean, Light and comfortable . We had a mozzy net, safe, wifi and air con in the price which is brilliant and at a good price. Marie is lovely friendly and helpful as is the lady who cleans the room everyday. The shower pressure is heaven , wish we had it at home. There is a supermarket underneath and an ace restaurant which you must book. Very close to sea and main shops. We will stay here again if we go to zante. One thing .there are steps up to the apartment which i struggled with so not recommended if in a wheelchair or can't do...
