Summertime Bar — Restaurant in Zakynthos Municipality

Unfourtunately had to give this place one star. Sat down to have drinks with friends and was all great. Decided to play a game of pool so waited patiently for 20/30 minutes to play and a couple left. We went to the pool table as the other couple left us some tokens and started playing. We played two games in total with didn’t last long (last game didn’t finish as we felt we had to leave) throughout the whole time playing we felt like the bar staff were constantly looking over at us playing and I felt extremely uncomfortable as if they were looking over to say “hurry up” then during the end of the second game, we had one ball left to pot and one memeber of staff came over with his hands up and looked at us to say “people are waiting” then another member of staff intervened and shouted over “other people are waiting to play” in front of a full bar of people. How extremely embarrassing and unwelcoming for us. We will not return. And how rude...

Seen this place a few times and it always looked very inviting, so after a early start to the day we were peckish for some breakfast. Helen was our service staff and she was so polite anfmd friendly, nothing was too much trouble, we had a very picky 2 year old. Our breakfast was served fast and perfectly cooked . Nice little bar near the road and a somewhat large store. Good selection of coctails. Reasonable selection of beers. Food consists mostly from breakfast options, omelettes, salads and a few cooked dishes like pork schnitzel or gyros. Good service. Tends to be crowded in the evening.
