What an amazing place to stay on such an amazing Island!!! :D
So, our stay was for 4 nights during mid-October and the attentive service had begun before the stay. Our host, John - is extremely sincere and caring gentleman. Responses to communications were quick and comprehensive and he had messaged myself on the day of arrival via WhatsApp. We had paid for our stay via their website directly as it was cheaper (equivalent to about a nights dinner and a little extra).
We had a hire car of which is parked just outside the property somewhat on the road itself but it has a good width so make the most of it!
John met us there and then and we introduced ourselves - it was a nice personal touch for him to wanting to get to know you before escorting us to our apartment, staying in X1.
Like the website and reviews illustrate, the apartment and grounds are spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated and well facilitated! It is well stocked with items in the fridge and kitchenware, to small little additions such as toiletries, an ironing board, hairdryer and bedding. There is even a bolted down in-room safe!
The shower and plumbing worked perfectly (note that toilet paper cannot be flushed as per the rest of the island!) so no complaints there either.
Regrettably, I didn't have the chance to use the outdoor pool as we were too busy galivanting about the island but it was inviting, clean and the surrounding sunloungers were comfortable enough for those impromptu naps.
As far as location is concerned, its best to stay here if you are hiring a car. On that note, it's only a 15mins or so journey from the airport but situated a smudge outside of Tsilivi, so its convenient to take the 5min walk into the town for all of your culinary and supermarket needs! Some reviews have mentioned the ambient noise so heres my take on it. First of all, the area itself is somewhat open so sound will travel but in addition to this the apartment is on a road that appears to be one of the links into Tsilivi/Planos, so traffic will be expected! Personally, the cars werent the issue but some of them have very loud engines that could pierce the ambience. There were dogs nearby that would start barking at around 6am but to me, this is all part of the local ambience. If anything, these noise levels were probably miles better than what could've been during the busier months.
Honestly, I cannot say enough positive things about Peratzada and I would reconsider staying here without a seconds thought. I feel you owe it to yourself if you can stay here and visit the island during the head and tail ends of the peak season, as the pace of life is more relaxed, the roads arent as crazy and its easier to immerse yourself on your visit.
Once again, I have to thank the Peratzada team and John for their warmth and love towards their guests and property. This is one of the many local businesses to support on the lovely island of...
Read moreWhere do I even begin!! The best Airbnb we have ever stayed in. It started before even arriving, from the clear communication, to the immaculately clean apartment. The villa is exactly what it looks like on the pictures. If anything it doesn’t do it justice. The family that own the place are like no other, they welcomed us with open arms, the beautiful mother was there and greeted us with a beautiful smile, showed us to our room which again was beautiful. Stefi, John and Kristina welcomed us after with a fruit bowl, snacks and essentials for before we had gone shopping and basically had everything we needed. The welcome was so warm and so loving we felt home immediately. The apartment was fully equipped, literally, from an iron and iron board to paracetamol/first aid box and knitting kit.
The accommodation is in a great location, all the necessary shops with just a 3/4 mins walk, every shop owner was also just a pleasant, the beach is about 8/10min walk. Beautiful location. You can rent a car at a decent price on the main strip.
Our stay was made extra special due to the beautiful cake we were surprised with for our anniversary. The family had gone out of their way to bring a cake to the door! Words can’t describe their generosity through out the stay.
Stefi was the ultimate star of it all! She took it a step further. My husband and I love horse riding but unfortunately I was pregnant and could not ride, she made it possible that we had a photoshoot with the horses and my husband which basically turned into our maternity shoot 🤣🤣. She drove me down to the beach at sunset whilst my husband rode the horse, kept me company and took the most amazing pictures ( she is a photographer) We could not have done this without her at all!!!!
Thank you guys so much for the best stay ever! We definitely will be return with baby in the near future! Thank you thank you...
Read moreWonderful time at Peratzada! We are a family of four and spent our summer vacations in Zakynthos, choosing Peratzada for a 10 days accommodation. Being brand new apartments, with no reviews and feedback from previous guests, made us a bit hesitant initially. After having several communications and clarifications from the hosts (highly available and replying in details to all questions), we decided to book Peratzada. As soon as we stepped in the apartment, we felt happy about our choice! Everything matching the online photos and description, as well as many other details you can’t perceive online. Apartment equipped with everything you need, of a high quality and very stylish. Fully equipped kitchen, with all needed utensils, comfortable beds, new and clean bathroom with washing machine and toiletries, nice and furnished outdoor area, with swimming pool and barbecue facilities. Many attentive details and useful items, indoor (iron, first aid kit, etc) and outdoor (drawing items for kids, swimming pool floats and rings). Hosts are great, very supportive in case of needs, but discrete and non-intrusive at the same time. They welcomed us with fruits, snacks and locally produced juice, as well as with Zakynthian wine and homemade cookies. Tsilivi is a great central location for exploring different beaches in the island, in addition it offers a wide range of bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment activities (especially for families with kids). Peratzada is situated in a quiet and tranquil area of Tsilivi, yet within walking distance to all facilities. We highly recommend Peratzada! Thanks again Stephie,...
