We chose to eat here as the staff seemed friendly and the menu looked good. Once in the restaurant the friendlies of the waiter who'd greeted us so kindly every day went... when we didn't want expensive wine or the cheese cake staff were dismissive. We ordered a pizza, a cheese penne pasta, a child's pasta and a side of garlic bread. A fanta and half a karaf of house red.
After we ordered an unsealed, unlabeled bottle of water was brought the table, it never crossed our mind (since a sealed labeled 1.5ltr bottle is 50c) this was chargeable (€3.50 added to the bill).
Whilst waiting the waiter without being asked brought a plate with 6 small pieces of bruschetta with a bit of diced tomato on top to our table, no mention that this was an item we'd be charged for (€3 added to Bill).
The pizza was a poor, no Parmesan brought with the pasta dishes, I had to put half a shaker of pepper on the penne pasta to make it less bland and the wine tasted like sun cream, hubby chucked his in the bush. Staff were pushy and when we didn't want what they were pushing, dismissive. We felt we were teat like inferiors.
I'm a nurse and work hard for my money, we scrimped and saved for this holiday. We've been here a week and have had lovely service everywhere we've been. But here.
I see there are many 1 star ratings and that presenting water and extras as if complimentary then adding to the bill is something you regularly do to tourists, our greek friend and hotelier looked at our bill and couldn't understand half of what was written. I am an honest hard working individual. You should be ashamed of yourselves running a business like this, word of mouth is a powerful thing.
Final bill €49.10.
I wish I'd checked the reviews....

If you’re looking for a truly authentic Greek dining experience in Zakynthos, Premier Restaurant in Tsilivi is the place to be. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warm hospitality that immediately made us feel at home.
The menu offers a fantastic selection of traditional Greek dishes, prepared with fresh, local ingredients and a lot of love. The tzatziki was among the best we’ve ever tasted, and the house wine paired beautifully with the meal.
What truly sets Premier apart is the care and attention they put into both the food and the atmosphere. The staff is incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about what they do. The setting is charming and relaxed, ideal for both romantic dinners and family gatherings.
You can tell this is a family-run restaurant where tradition and quality matter. It’s not just a meal – it’s a full cultural experience. We left with full hearts and full stomachs, already planning to return before the end of our holiday.
Highly recommended – 5 stars...

Staff was very nice, unfortunately also not so fast… firstly I had to wait 10-15’ to order Food (waiter came to Me after my visit at a „bar”)
We ordered 2 meals with one starter. Besides this waiter gave us extra water and bruschetts which felt good probably due long waiting time (or we thought it is standard Here)
After slightly over and hour since order ofc. (65’) we finally got our food (pork knuckle and stifado). I have to say both were very tasty however I would recommend to order also some vegetables as this dish does not have (besides potato).
When we received check we found out that there are no 3 but 5 positions, unfortunately everything in greek so we could’t even read what is on it.
For some reason they put extra (not ordered by us) bruschetts and water to check. It is not about money, for sure it is something more that this and I felt tricked/cheated.
I would not recommend this restaurant even if the food was the best...
