A cosy but noisy hotel in Tsilivi centre. We were on B&B basis but breakfast was disappointing. A decent 'english' selection but if you want a selection of Greek cheeses, meats, salads, breads, etc you won't find it here. The few meats were wafer thin slices of processed meat and the same with cheeses. The only exception was feta cheese with salad but once it was gone in the morning, it was gone. I did ask but was told there was no more. Our room was on the top (second) floor with no lift. The room itself, supposedly self- catering, was sparsely equipped, the room and bathroom well and truly past their best before date overall, the bath was a jacuzzi bath that didn't work and the bottom of the bath was cracked so we needed to put a towel on the bottom to avoid cutting our feet. We did speak with reception about the bath and the constant 'buzzing' from the electrics box but nothing was done. Overall, for the money we paid, we've had much better for the same elsewhere. This was our fourth trip to Tsilivi. Time to move on.

Good location for the evening, takes about 10 minutes to walk to the beach. Most staff are welcoming. There are some extra sun beds tooked away which you have to ask for, my wife asked for some extra beds and Peter (works behind the bar) said I'm only doing this once and was huffing and puffing. On another occasion late in the afternoon there was 6 people around the pool and another couple came in bought food and drinks, as soon as the guy puts 1 leg in the pool Peter came running over shouting get out of the pool. It's a small pool and I would understand if it was middle of the day and packed out but there was us 4 and 2 other guys in and around the pool, would of been 4 stars if not for P. Your not allowed to even drink water not bought from the bar but witnessed every morning the staff drinking coffee from the hub cafe.

We stayed one week here with my family. The location was good, near everything but not dirrectly along the main street. The pool stuff (especially Panos, Mateo and Joana) were very kind, polite and helpfull. The food was great. Room was nice and renovated. The rooms were cleaned every morning and the reception is open all the time. Hotel is also a kid friendly. Only downside was the loud noise from the pool bar at night, our room was near to that.

Greeted with a smile from all the staff when we arrived. Air-con and a safe are included free of charge, which is rare in Greece. The room/climate tax was due upon check in. Three euros a night and was cash only. They offered to carry our bags up to our room as our studio was located up two flights of stairs. ||I had emailed months before asking if we could pay a fee to keep our room until 4pm on the the day we were due to check out, as our flight wasn’t until 8pm and was told it wouldn’t be a problem. I asked when we arrived and paid a fee of €40 to keep the room on. A very reasonable amount and very much appreciated; allowed us to enjoy our last day with no rush.||The room was big. Air-con unit was decent. A small TV - couldn’t tell you about the channels etc as we never turned it on. Kitchenette had a kettle, toaster, microwave, hob and under-counter fridge/freezer. Basic self catering equipment supplied such as a few glasses, cups, cutlery and cooking essentials. A hairdryer was supplied in the bedroom next to a large mirror. Plenty of plug sockets everywhere including the bathroom. Lots of hangers in the wardrobe, several drawers and counter space. The bathroom had small drawers and a cupboard also. ||Didn’t use the hotel facilities/pool as we just use the self catering studio as a base. Had a drink at the poolside one evening and cocktails were good. Friendly staff. ||Would happily stay here again. Good facilities for price paid. ||Pros|- Bins in room changed every day. Beds made every day. Our towels seemed to have been changed every 2-3 days.|- Very central. Cafes, restaurants, bars and a Spar all on the doorstep. |- 15 minute walk to the beach and 15/20 minutes from the airport.||Cons|- Our apartment (222) had limited wi-fi. Could only connect to it if sat on the balcony and even then it would sporadically disconnect. I usually only use my mobile data but it was non-existent (Vodafone) in most of Tsilivi. |- Lots of ants. Balcony, bedroom, bathroom. I’m aware it’s a hot country and there’s little the...

First the pros -Location is excellent, just off the main road, so traffic noise isn't overwhelming. The whole place is spotless and there is an army of cleaners on duty all day. The rooms are a decent size with a free safe -locked with a key and quiet air con. The beds are king size and very comfortable, as are the pillows. Bedding and towels are changed on a regular basis. There is a kettle with cups and saucers. There are plenty of 2 pin sockets. Drinks and meals at lunchtime are reasonably priced and served promptly. Peter and Joanna are very friendly and approachable. There is a decent size pool and surrounding area, for the number of rooms that there are. Towels cannot be put down on loungers before 9am, which I think is perfectly reasonable. The pool and sunbeds are for residents only, but the bar is open to the public in the evening. There is a small book exchange in reception.|Secondly the cons - There is hardly any drawer space in the room. It's just the two bedside drawers, so we had to put all our t shirts etc on a high shelf in the wardobe. The shower doesn't have a door, so the bathroom floor gets very wet and you have to wait for the water to drain away. There is no shelf for any toiletries. Luckily my toilet bag had handles, so could be hung on the hook on the wall. Cups and saucers are not wahed, neither are the plastic water glasses replaced. Breakfast is adequate but needs to be better for a 4 * hotel. We paid 10 Euros a night tourist tax for the 1st and 2nd week in July.|If you're comparing this hotel to the standard of 4 * hotels in Spain/Italy/Turkey, then it's more like a 3*. Did we enjoy our stay? Overall it was fabulous and if we went to tsilivi again, then this is...

This hotel is absolutely not family-friendly. We were constantly told to “keep the children quiet” and that they couldn’t splash or get water by the side of the pool. Apparently another family were told the same thing about their son, so it wasn’t just us. In the end, we had to pay to use other hotels’ pools so the children could enjoy themselves, and the hotel’s response to this was simply, “we didn’t make you go.” ||When we raised our concerns with reception and the owner, we found them dismissive and unhelpful. The owner, who we’ve spoken English with in past years, suddenly ‘couldn’t speak English’ and we were told to speak with our Jet2 rep instead of dealing with the issues.||We were also told where we could sit around the pool and that we had to sit together as a group (despite booking separately) meaning if some of us wanted to sit in the sun whilst others were in the shade this was not allowed. The whole attitude felt controlling and unwelcoming. According to the hotel receptionist they are going adults-only next year, which made us feel like they were pushing families out to please their adult regulars.||To make matters worse, although the hotel is advertised as a 3★ on Jet2, we were charged the government tax rate for a 4★ hotel. Other customers should be aware of this before booking.||My husband and I have been regulars here for the past 10 years visiting every year, but after this experience they have now lost us as customers for good.||As a family of 4 adults and 2 children, we spent over £5k to come to this hotel to not be able to use the facilities which was very disappointing and a complete waste of money. ||If you are travelling with children, avoid this hotel...
