We shared some starters including the tzatziki, baked feta and spinach parcels which were nice. The house wine was drinkable and very reasonably priced. Most of us had the swordfish for main course. The swordfish steak itself was very good, however the sides that came with it were a bit uninspiring with some fairly standard fries and an undressed salad of shredded lettuce, a couple of slices of tomato and a pile of onions. With no sauce for the fish and no dressing on the salad, we asked if there was any sauce they could offer or recommend. They suggested mayonnaise or sweet chilli and brought along a few little dipping pots of each. After the meal they offered a free dessert that was a sort of mix of a panna cotta and a tiramisu, which I really enjoyed along with a limoncello. When the bill came it was a bit more than we were expecting and on inspection they charged €3.50 each for the 5 little dipping pots of sauce they provided. This was of course an unwelcome surprise for small pots of shop bought sweet chilli/mayo. It is a shame because the meal could have been excellent if it wasn’t for these couple of faults. I would recommend serving the fish with Greek style potatoes instead of chips and a slightly more complex salad with some dressing and at least a slice of lemon with the fish if not a simple sauce. And not charge €3.50 for a little bit of mayonnaise, especially without warning us before...

Authentic Greek Hospitality at Its Best ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

If you’re looking for a true taste of traditional Greek cuisine, this charming taverna is the place to be. Tucked away in a picturesque setting, it offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel like a local.

The food is homemade and full of heart. We tried a variety of classic dishes — from tender souvlaki and juicy grilled meats to perfectly seasoned stuffed vine leaves (dolmades) and a hearty portion of gemista (stuffed tomatoes and peppers). Every bite was flavorful and authentic, just like something a Greek grandmother would cook.

The portions were generous, the prices fair, and the service felt genuinely warm and personal. The staff treated us like family, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.

To top it off, we ended our meal with complimentary house-made baklava and a shot of ouzo — the perfect way to end a perfect evening.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience the soul of Greece through its food and...

First we were contemplating whether to have dinner in our luxury hotel or outside, but we were both glad we made the decision to go outside. This place is so cute and the owners are so lovely. We asked for some recommendations and were so satisfied by the home-made food. Everything they prepare is delicious, fresh, local and made in-house. He even treated us on a shot of MavroDaphne which was surprisingly delicious. The prices are much affordable so the value you get for taste, portions, hospitality and love is incredible. We went back the next day right before we left, since it was so good. Ask for their local bread with fresh Olive oil and try their meatballs!

Thank you so much Alex, I hope to meet you again in the future! Greetings,...

It took me a while to write my review but here it is. We came to Estia after our rental company (next door) recommended it and we were so happy they did! I have rarely seen so much kindness and felt so warmly welcomed in a restaurant by the owner himself. The food is great, the place is really beautiful and so different from all the touristy places around. If you look for a traditional, local, tasty restaurant you should definitely stop there! We came twice and wish we did more! Thanks again Alex and we hope to see you in Paris one day! Mélissa and Vincent

Lovely restaurant tucked away from the commercial strip, we came here after reading the reviews and oh wow did it not disappoint! The feta and fava beans were so fresh and reasonably priced. Followed by the mousaka and beef stifado which were both the best dishes we have had so far out here. Service was swift yet attentive, big shout out to Alex who was such a lovely and patient waiter letting us enjoy our wine even though, we were the last ones here for a late meal. Thank you so much to all the stag for such a wonderful Greek meal.
