To me, the absolute best restaurant in Zakynthos (Zante - whichever you prefer). I don't know what more to say. Definitely in the top 5 restaurants I've visited so far in my life. Everything else seems to be overpriced and with lower quality. First time in my life that my mouth was totally watery after like an hour having finished my dinner! Kostas, the Chef, Manager and Owner of the Restaurant (it's important and he can explain why) is the most down-to-earth Chef I've had the privilege to meet. Just go there, and thank me later! Oh, if you're into meat and a tenderloin stake, DO ask him to prepare one for you. To me, THAT was the best stake I've had so far in my life. The Caesar salad too. The mushrooms too. The giouvetsi too. Honestly, this guy is a genius! And, don't forget about the desert. Do you like Cheesecake? Well then... Banofee? You're in for a treat... Brownies? Yeah, you guessed it... I'm a connoisseur of this dish, I get it a few times a month in many different restaurants. The sauce here wasn't very good, the spaghetti was cooked past al dente, and it was really a big letdown for me. (The sauce was a heavy sauce with some cream in it.) Lamb chops 2. flavor was okay, but they only give you three chops for over €20 which seems pretty expensive. The service was okay, certainly nothing special. They kept forgetting to bring the parmesan cheese for my pasta. And the pricing for everything was definitely on the high side. Good for them that they have such a high rating, but, once again, I'm not sure why. And when the bill came, they had charged more for the pasta than was on the menu. 21.80...
