Nakum Hotel — Hotel in Flores

We arrived late, 8:30 pm due to travel delays. Got there and tried to give credit card she said machine does not work. We only had large amount of bills tried to pay with large money she said she had no change. She wanted us to go out and find change. The hotel was completely dark when we got back it took her 5 minutes to answer the door and then we wanted to see the room and she would not turn on any lights for us to go up the stairs. Bed springs were poking through mattress, old scratchy sheets and blanket. No hot water and toilet struggled to function. Given the prices across the bridge in Flores, Nakum Hotel is great value. We paid 270Q (£27 or $33) for a one night stay in a small but comfortable room.
