La Danta Restaurante — Restaurant in Flores

As a starter we ordered a traditional Tortilla Soup but it was not a traditional at all. It was an instant soup with tortillas. It was okay but not what we expected and also not for that price. As a main course we ordered spare ribs. The taste was good but my ribs didn't have any meat on it. It was all bones. So we complained about it. The waitress said she will talk to the kitchen but never came back. After some time we decided to pay and went to the front. There we complained again because they charged the full price for it, which didn't seem fair. The waitress tried everything but told us that the cook didn't accept our complaint and if they gave us a discount they (the waitress personally) would need to pay the difference. We went in because of the beautiful interior, and sat at a lovely table in the tiny courtyard. Everything was fine except for the completely inattentive, disinterested waitress who, after we had paid the bill, handed us the receipt with one hand while looking the other way and chatting with her colleagues. (She was the older of the three; the other two were friendly and helpful as was the male waiter). With local customers she was bright and cheery; with us quite the opposite throughout the meal, despite our speaking Spanish and our attempts at friendliness.
