Hotel Colibrí Petén — Hotel in Flores

Loved staying in this place. The rooms are so clean and very newly built so everything is so fresh. Each room has its own bathroom which again is really clean! Patty, one of the owners also has a llavenderia so Sheets and towels are fresh and you can get your clothes washed too!

When we arrived the owners were so nice when we first arrived, they immediately made us feel at home and it felt like we had known them for years! They gave us free bottles of water and always checked whether we had enough water to drink. They let us use their kitchen, and would stay and chat with us while we cooked. They helped us find transport to places and gave us lots of recommendations of what to do. In the morning they gave us coffee, and they let us leave our suitcases there while we went away to Tikal for a couple of days.

Would recommend this pace to anyone who wants a clean room, lots of amenities, and friendly helpful hosts!! Thank you so much...

The couple that owns this hotel are more kind and generous than I could ever explain. They are wonderful. Located just outside of the tourist island. You are able to be comfortable, feel safe, and enjoy the Guatemalan culture. Just, ask and they will do all they can to help or steer you in the right direction. Very clean and awesome looking rooms. The showers do not have hot water. This is just fine. In our findings, a hot water shower hotel room will cost a minimum of 600Q up to 1200Q/ Nightly. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Chambre spacieuse, propre. Bonne literie. intérieur rustique et chaleureux. Pas de climatisation mais le ventilateur est suffisant. Organise pour les visiteurs le trajet pour Tikal, avec guide ou non. Je n'ai pas profité mais l'établissement fait également laverie. Bon réseau wifi. Situation géographique qui me convenait. Pas loin de Flores et des activités mais au calme. -- il s'agit plus d'une chambre d'hôte que d'un hôtel. Même si la gérante était plutôt accommodante. Ça reste un détail mais ça peut ne pas convenir à certains. La douche, quand j'y étais ne donnait pas...
