Hotel Mercy — Hotel in Sololá

Este hotel, si es que se le puede llamar hotel, es el peor en el que hemos estado en Guatemala con mucha diferencia.

El ruido por la noche es insoportable, como ya han puesto otros huéspedes. Se oye absolutamente todo, tuktuks, perros ladrando, otras personas en sus habitaciones… No hay agua caliente. En sus fotos no muestran las duchas, así que me he permitido añadir una foto para que salgan de dudas. El calentador no funciona y el agua sale, como mucho, tibia. No hay servicio de habitaciones, algo básico en un hotel. Si te quedas tres días, limpias tú y vacías la papelera tú. Y por supuesto sin cambio de sábanas ni toallas. No se parece nada a las fotos, es un edificio que está medio en construcción, como pueden ver en mi foto de abajo. El desayuno es pésimo y el café ni les cuento. Además, son lentísimos y no tienen capacidad para las habitaciones que ofrecen. Si quieres desayunar rápido, asegúrate de estar a las 8 en punto o tendrás que esperar bastante.

Hemos pagado unos 65 euros al cambio por noche, un precio por el que en Guatemala se pueden conseguir hoteles decentes. Un error que no volveremos a cometer. Deberían cambiarle el nombre y ponerle algo como “hospedaje” además de...
