TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, OUR HONEYMOON WAS RUINED. DO NOT RECOMMEND. Reason below.

First impression is not that bad, however it looks a bit messier than you would think. 40% of staff is really nice but the rest is not helpful at all. We booked this hotel for our honeymoon and stayed there only for sleep and in between times for wellness (which is in huge need of renovation). Day one our heater in bathroom was not working but manager checked it and in 5 minutes there was a man to fix it. So it was perfect first impression. Then we said we do not need the cleaning service in our rooms, only fresh towels. Nothing was missing. The next day we left earlier and cleaning staff came in. In the evening we realized that we are missing one gold necklace with the gold cross. Pretty important to us. Receptionist helped us check the room, then we called the police. Because it was already 2am when the police was here, we had to wait for next day. The next day “Housekeeping manager” basically said that if it was not in safe, she can’t do anything. She did it multiple times and was not even willing to call the maids that were in the room or ask them anything. (There were 3 maids in our rooms for 10 minutes, one cleaned the bathroom but the rest was dirty, not cleaned, mini bar was not filled as we heared it should. For 10 minutes they were giving us fresh towels ?? And than the necklace is missing … isn’t it strange ??? We called police the second time, because I want to help you, I do NOT RECOMMEND this hotel. With all experiences here it is worth 1 star maximum. Be aware next time, from what housekeeping manager said, I need to put all my luggage to the safe so nothing will be stolen. Do they offer such...

I stayed here in late Jan/early Feb. We initially got given a double room in the tower T104. The room was ok but the 'mini-bar' fridge didn't work so we asked cleaning staff about it as the tower part of the hotel is a long way from reception and there are no telephones in these rooms. Cleaning staff said repairmen had been called out but it was clear these fridges had not been working for a while. The staff said they could move use to T107 which was a better room. We expected the fridge would be working on this to but it also did not. The room itself is huge and beautiful views but needs a lot of updating. There were stains on the carpet and curtains. The bathroom had a whirlpool like bath but all the pumps had been taken out and the shower head was attached halfway up the wall so you couldn't even have a shower properly! However the good points about the hotel was the TV had loads of good channels many in english. It's in a really central location and the spa and wellness centre is included in your stay. Although I would say to hire a robe at 5 euros a time is very expensive and I think they should include one robe per person per stay. One particular female member of reception staff was not very friendly and welcoming and didn't seem to want to help with putting our bag in the 'safe' at the reception desk. On this note, I do think they should have safes in each room as its a 4*...

We had a great time at Bliss Hotel. Arrived 4 hours before check time. No problem storing our bags. The hotel is very well placed for sightseeing. Turn left from front door and it’s about 20 mins to River Danube and all the amazing sights it offers on both sides of the river. Turn right from front door and a few turns more and it’s a very pleasant walk 35 mins to the famous thermal baths. Our room was great, bright n roomy, v comfortable bed, great shower, good fridge. Breakfasts were excellent, v extensive range of hot and cold foods, breads, pastries, champagne, great coffee. Really set up us for the day. Pool, sauna, jacuzzi etc excellent n free. Some quirky bars nearby, mostly downstairs, you have to look out for them. We never made it into one pub called The Lost 36. Wanted to but it wasn’t open when we wanted to go. We used Minibud (on Budapest tour n guide app) to transfer from the airport and back. Very reliable. Give yourself plenty of time to get back to airport. Lots of renovation work going on and traffic jams, roads closed as a result. Sat for 30 mins waitin for cement to get poured into hole in road. Hope this helps you enjoy Budapest as...

good : nice location, wellness and gym is rly nice bad : the rooms are not very clean ( see pictures), in our room many stuffs were broken ( no wifi, no heaters, no hairdryer…). Some of the staff was helpful but some other ( like gym/ pool staff) not very kind. I believe the only good thing this hotel has to offer is there wellness but that’s it so overall you can definitely find better. The cleaning personal is supposed to come every 3 day but in our cases they did not came even when we requested it in the early afternoon after we seen nothing had been clean or at least clean towels but no nothing.. I had been here multiple times and i notice it’s getting worse and worse…

This is definitely not a 4-star hotel as advertised on Booking. It is a residential building with apartments rented out, offering various amenities. My room required taking an elevator to the 5th floor, then walking 30 meters outdoors, followed by climbing 4 more flights of stairs – all while carrying luggage. The room had an unpleasant sewage odor, and there was noise due to the window facing an inner courtyard. The only positive aspects were the breakfast, the gym and the crew that is friendly. The photo shows the view from the room’s windows
