The hotel was an amazing surprise compared to where and my work partner had been staying, really cheap is access for disabled people lifts to the room. The mother and daughter who run the place are fantastic really do look after you, rooms are fully air conditioned all have double beds TV's, showers and office desk area if your there on business like I was. If your there on business definitely recommend not only is the place cheap but as you come out to look for food turn right and your on the main alleyway to the high street which is about 0.5mls from the main center square, or Just walk down about a third of the way down the street just down from the color TV Sports/Bar where food is amazing; you will find another alleyway where there are bar/restraints down there its basically an arcade to be totally on on the buda side you can not go wrong for food from the main square all the way back to the hotel the local dishes are absolutely amazing and cheap. Note though do not take euros (€) as If you pay in them everything is more expensive you have to pay either by card or HUF none as (Florentine ) you stick to this you can not go wrong everyone is so nice and really look after you owe and they are not pushy like some of the other countries I have stayed in. I highly recommend this for work or pleasure either way you will have a fantastic...
Read moreThe good: extremely cheap, central location, clean, good central heating, friendly staff.
The bad: you can't take the room key out with you. You have to leave it with reception when you exit hotel. You can then get the key back by asking for the number of your room, and they give it to you without even checking who you are. This didn't seem very secure to me and I was a bit worried about leaving stuff in our room.
The ugly: soundproofing is poor. One night there was some loud club music going on into the early hours. Also opposite a church that rings its bells very loudly at 6am. My fiancee slept through this but I woke up both mornings, meaning I slept fairly poorly. We could also hear everything going on in adjacent rooms. If you're sensitive to noise you might be better choosing...
Read moreMy wife and I have stayed at the Broadway Panzio for 8 nights and it was most definitely good value for money. The room was very spacious with good heating, reception and housekeeping staff were super-friendly, helpful and courteous. The towels were changed every day if needed, and the room was cleaned up every couple of days. The guesthouse is also located in the very center of Budapest with good transport links which makes it very easy to to explore the many great things this city has to offer. If we ever decided to visit Budapest again, we would definitely stay at the Broadway Panzio. Thank you for making our stay such a wonderful...
