ANDRASSY UT It is a straight, wide, and picturesque street, among the most central in Budapest, that leads to Heroes' Square with its impressive Millennium Monument on the southwestern side of City Park. Along the road, you'll encounter several noteworthy buildings, including the State Opera House of Hungary, and just across from it, the Drechsler Palace. Additionally, you'll find the House of Terror Museum and the Ferenc Hopp Museum of East Asian Art. For the majority of its length, the road features a bicycle lane in both directions.

Walking down Andrássy Avenue felt like stepping into a living museum 🏛️ This UNESCO World Heritage street is not just beautiful — it tells the story of Budapest’s golden age through its stunning neo-renaissance architecture and tree-lined sidewalks 🌳 Starting from the city center, you pass iconic spots like the Hungarian State Opera House, the House of Terror Museum, and rows of 19th-century villas. I loved how the vibe changed from vibrant to peaceful as I got closer to Heroes' Square. If you enjoy blending architecture, history, and a bit of nature — this avenue...

A teljes lefutás hosszában 1883-tól Sugárút (Radialstrasse), 1886-tól Andrássy út, 1950-től Sztálin út, 1956 októberétől Magyar Ifjúság útja, 1957-től Népköztársaság útja, 1990-től Andrássy...
