Gemini Lounge — Restaurant in Budapest

Environment (9/10): Modern interior, comfortable seating and perfectly clean. Toward the end of the evening, the music got quite loud, but overall the place felt great.

Service (10/10): All the staff behind the bar were smiling and looked happy. I mostly talked to Emes (hopefully I got the name right) and she was absolutely amazing – professional, funny, and exactly the type of person you’d want to be served by in a place like this.

Drinks (10/10): Excellent, beautifully presented and very well balanced. I recommend trying their signature cocktails – they’re definitely worth it.

Beverage selection (10/10): As I mentioned, Emes took care of me the whole evening and she was just outstanding. Even with their massive drink menu, she knew exactly where everything was, what they had available, and she gave spot-on recommendations. Everything she suggested turned out perfectly.

Atmosphere (8/10): At the beginning it felt like a calm tea house, but later in the evening it turned more into a lively club. I don’t blame them for that – it’s more about my personal preference for quieter places. Still, I subjectively take off two points for that.

Hookah (8/10): Most likely packed with Adalya (limited selection, but they’ve got the main classics that won’t disappoint). I hadn’t smoked Adalya in a while, but it pleasantly surprised me. They don’t offer automatic coal service like I’m used to in the Czech Republic, but I had mine prepared on a Quasar and it lasted about two hours on a single round of coals – so overall quite solid.

Speed of service (10/10): No complaints, everything came quickly.

Cleanliness (10/10): Spotless everywhere, nothing to criticize.

Prices (8/10): Hookah costs around €25 and cocktails are €10–15. For Budapest it’s on the higher side, but honestly, it’s worth it here.

Comfort (7/10): The chairs could be more comfortable – after a while you start to feel it in your back.

Overall rating (9/10): Definitely a place worth visiting. The quality is on par with (and sometimes better than) many Czech...

Review 2: This is the second time here! This place with no doubt it's still our best choice in Budapest! This time we ordered food which was so good. The burgers were really good. The caesar salad was really really good too! The portions are good. The hookah (Shisha) is still the best we had! I definitely recommend this place! The waitress also is the best and speaks great English! So thank you for the amazing service and experience!

Review 1: We stumbled into this place and its with no doubt one of the best places we've been to. The shisha is out of this world ! Our waitress is very helpful and go the extra mile in service. The music is amazing with a dedicated DJ on site. Huge screens to watch your favorite team !

Amazing Atmosphere and Great Hookah!!!!!

I had a fantastic experience at Gemini Lounge! The ambiance was chill and inviting, with dim lighting, comfy seating, and great music playing at just the right volume. The hookah was top-notch — smooth, flavorful, and long-lasting. They had a wide variety of shisha flavors, and the staff even gave recommendations based on our preferences, which was a nice touch.
