Highly convenient location, close to two train stations, very close to M1 and a bus stop, as well as within walking distance of some high-profile attractions. Grocery shops nearby, Westend shopping mall also close. Mostly pretty quiet. There did not seem to be much traffic on the street. The room was somewhat spacious, double-sized foam mattress was comfortable. Relatively affordable, compared to most accommodations in the area. 24/7 reception desk was helpful. Electric wall sockets on both sides of the bed's headboard, as well as one in the bathroom (hair drier in bathroom.) Breakfast was not great, but it was alright. Large windows, letting in plenty of natural light. Thick curtains available if we wanted less light. Strong source of artificial light on the ceiling, plus two small lamps on each side of the bed, for times when only little light was needed.
Very little storage space for a two-person room. It is doable to keep belongings in suitcases, but rather inconvenient for a longer stay. Inside the very small wardrobe (the width of a jacket) there were only two hangers and a small shelf. Lots of room by the door, but no hangers for the coat on the wall. In the bathroom there was no option to hang clothes or towels. Although the Booking hotel page said there would be toiletries, we found only wall-mounted liquid soap dispensers - one for the sink, and one in the shower. Liquid soap may substitute shower gel, but it does not substitute shampoo. Towels - only one per guest. A separate towel for the face is pretty much basic hygiene, so not having that was rather frustrating. Moreover, one of the towels was so worn out that it had several holes in the fabric. Towels were never changed during the entire 5 night stay. Cleanliness was, unfortunately, rather subpar. It looked clean if you were in a hurry, but upon check-in we found that the floors could do with a vacuum and a wash, and the walls had stains on. There was no "please clean/do not disturb" note that we could leave on the door, so we assumed the cleaning staff makes up the rooms daily. This was not the case. On the third day of our stay we asked at reception for the room to be cleaned, but aside from airing the room, restocking the toilet paper, and emptying the bins, there was no noticeable difference in actual cleaning. The minibar was locked, and there was no key available. After some coins rolled under the minibar, and we moved it to retrieve the coins, we found the key, fallen under the minibar, in a sea of thick dust. Narrow semi-spiral staircase, which needed extra-caution every time when used. There is no elevator. People with large baggage or limited mobility are advised to ask for a room on the ground floor, or find another place! The breakfast room was very crowded, and, on one occasion,...
Read moreI arrived at this hotel where i was welcomed by a kind receptionist who handed me the keys to my room. When I got to the room i was given the key to i found it with doors and windows wide open and a fan blowing into it. The room had a very foul smell and its conditions and spaces weren't the best either. The wardrobe was also open and could not help myself but notice the small safe literally bolted on a wooden board just laid inside the wardrobe itself so incredibly easy to just remove it all and leave with it all. The bathroom was probably the cleanest thing there even though the shower box was leaking water on the floor and there was mould growing in all the bathroom crevices, i took pictures of it all but google does not let me upload them to this review without taking it down so you have to take my as well as other reviews word for it. Breakfast was included but i barely had anything, a slice of bread with jam and butter as well as a cup of juice but also a coffee which was the worse one i've ever had. Other than those you could choose between some types of ham and small sausages as well. Personally would NOT recommend...

Rooms distributed around a big patio with a couple of trees and shade in the summer, nice staff at front desk , 24 hrs reception ,quiet district. room was spacious and bathrooms, too Bad side, very poor breakfast. I have stayed at similar budget hotels and there are some cakes and juice. Here breaksfast is just some boiled hot dogs, bread, jam, butter, milk, coffee , scrambled eggs and some cold cuta. VERY COMMON in budget hotels in Budapest, not only here, once evrything is over they do not refill unless you literally chase them. As I said before staff at reception very friendly and helpful. MY ROOM had no AC or FAN.It was late July, 39 degress, I know a few rooms have AC ,mine not. Please OWNER OF THIS HOTEL go and buy some stand fans at Praltiker, OBI or somewhere similar.
