Feng Shui Wellness Apartmanház Hévíz — Hotel in Keszthelyi járás

We booked this hotel through Expedia. Before traveling, we experienced some problems with the reservation. The owner emailed us mentioning that she cannot accept American Express, the card we use while booking in Expedia. In order not to double book, she accepted that we settle the payment upon our arrival with Visa or MasterCard.||||Elizabeth, the owner and manager of this place received us with a warmth welcome, offered us a cup of rose wine and provided us with the city map and explained us about Heviz. She also recommended us a fancy and romantic restaurant. At our request, she booked us a table with that restaurant in Heviz.||||Our room was located at the second floor of this complex. It is quite a large sitting room and a bed room. There was no air-condition in the room and the room was very hot. The furniture was quite old. This room needs some renovation to make it suitable for a rental unit. I was extremely disappointed and was planning to leave this unit the morning of the second day since it was not what was advertised.||||The advertised free wifi was only accessible in the first floor of the complex or in the common outside area and it was another point of disappointment. We went for diner and when we returned we realized that the parking located behind the entrance has no light and you have to use the flash light of your cell to walk back to the main lobby.||||I sent an email to Elizabeth the following morning telling her that I would like to discuss with her the room which I find completely inadequate. She responded immediately that she will move me to another room the same day since she has guests checking out. The new room will have a cooling air-conditioning.||||We had planned our day and we were going to the thermal lake. Elizabeth proposed to move our luggage to the new room. In fact, when we returned we found that everything has been moved to the new room which now was on the third floor. The new room has a split a/c in the living room and unlike the first room much modern furniture but still not as the pictures displayed by the management in trip advisor.||||On the third day, while checking out we were surprised that Elizabeth increased the cost of the room by 11 euro by day (22 euros) of what we have reserved as advertised by Expedia. This was our third disappointment since when I requested to discuss the room with her, she offered to move us to another room and she never mentioned about any additional charge. This was not adequate of a manager that needs to promote such a beautiful complex. We paid her this groundless increase with a credit card.||||Overall on the positive side, compared to hotels in the Heviz area, the price is very reasonable and maybe half price of any hotel. The location is very ideal; it is about 10 minutes from the city centre and the thermal lake. Elizabeth is a very helpful person that will do her best to answer any question and assist her clientele.||||On the negative side, photos on trip advisor displayed by the Management should represent all the rooms and not only the best room of the complex. Announced prices on Expedia by the Management should be respected and not providing the client with an inadequate room then proposing to accommodate to a better room to finally increase the fees making the client feels trapped. The host, Elizabeth, was so great. She picked us up and dropped us off at the train/bus station. She made breakfast each morning. She had bicycles available. There is an onsite sauna, jacuzzi and small workout room. She set up our hotel accomodations in Budapest, which was to be our next stop. She even drove us to a specialty wine shop so we could buy better wines - then those you'd find in the markets. Did I mention that upon arrival, she offered us a glass of wine. That absolutely hit the spot after a long, stressful travel day!||||The apartment was awesome! It was huge, and nicely decorated. It even had it's own outdoor patio. The glass windows allowed all the light to come in....it felt like home.||||And when people say it's 10 minutes from town, indeed that's true. We found that we were happy to be away from the major tourist area. The apartments sit in a more authentic, romantic neighborhood. And two of the best restaurants are half a block away, as well as a small market.||||Honestly, we can't say enough about...

I highly recommend this place. Elizabeth is an excellent host who made our stay wonderful. Since this was our first visit to Heviz, Elizabeth advised us many places and tips what to see. We enjoyed our time very much in this beautiful city. The apartment is just like in the pictures. Clean and spacious apartment with no issue. We had AC in our room what was already set up, so when we arrived the room had a perfect temperature. Elizabeth gave a quick briefing how to use the equipments in the room so she left us with no questions. We stayed two days and every morning she was waiting us with a delicious breakfast what was schedule as how we requested.
