Checked in 16 Dec morning and out 18 dec evening. Very bad experience. Will not recommend others to come here. Early check in and late check out facilities are too unclear, receptionist does not himself what to do, how to manage, how much to charge etc. They say random charges if asked for price. They simply do not have an idea about this. They have a lift, but it hardly works and when asked they say either power is off or lift has problem. Stayed for 3 days and could use it for once only, every other time during the day we had to go up and down by stairs to the room in 3rd floor. It is vert problematic for aged and physically weak persons. No hot water facility. They probably have heater but it does not work too. They say hot water facility is there but heater can not heat. Nice explanation. The weather was very cold in Vizag and we had to suffer. There is TV in room but it does not work. When asked they told they had to recharge. They ask me when I shall watch the TV and based on that he will do hourly recharge. Wow! No housekeeping facility in the room. Been there for 3 days nobody came for housekeeping, despite requesting several times. They simply dont have that facility. There is Wi-Fi but it does not work all the time. And the only explanation is 'internet problem.' Fooding is problematic. They have self service breakfast facility but they make it for so much less people that it's highly probable not to get anything. Also there is a restaurant down the building but its food quality does not even match 50% of its costs.
Overall, rating it 1-star because I have no option of rating it 0-star. I don't recommend anybody...
   Read moreAs a traveller I have stayed at several Wonderful and Horrible hotels till date. But Sea Rock has managed to become the WORST hotel I have stay at till date and that to with utter ease. Practically everything expect the AC's in the three rooms that I booked had some or the other issue.
Negatives: Common Issues for the three rooms booked:- -There was no water in the tap, had to wait for literally 4 hours from Check-In time to freshen up, after a long day of traveling from Bangalore. -Lift wasn't working the first day. -Three rooms were alloted on third floor even after informing that I was travelling with a Senior Citizen and Heart patient when the lift was not working. -The hotel had a weird rotten smell.
Room Wise Issue:- -One of the supposed cleaned rooms for guests had a tissue paper lying on the bed runners. -The other room was practically missing a huge patch of the cement on the wall and was pretty dirty aswell. -No hot water in one the rooms.
Positive's: -The team at the hotel was curtious and polite. Probably that's why the other guests were willing to adjust and continue to stay back like us even after so many issues. The Lady Manager ensured to make the best of the worst situation even though the guests were really irrated. -Very close to the beach.
All in all, if the place was well maintained by OYO & the property owner it can become the best hotel in the area as they have a very good team. But till then avoid Sea Rock as you wouldn't want to ruin your stay.

   Read moreThis was the worst hotel experience I ever had. I booked 2 rooms for my family with OYO. ||||1. Breakfast - terrible! ||The first day I found big ants in the sambhar, WHICH IS GROSS. When complained to the property manager, he took away the bowl and never returned. Forget about replacing the breakfast,they didn't even apologise.||There was no tea/coffee. They said the machine is out of order.||Poor hygiene in the breakfast area. The bread packet was literally thrown near a toaster, with just one small bowl of butter and jam. When the same was over and we asked to refill the butter, they said we do not have more butter. They do not give spoons and have sambhar in the breakfast. ||2. Room service - absent!||We handed over the keys at the reception at 11 am and asked them to get the rooms cleaned while we were away for sightseeing. We returned around 3.30 pm and the rooms were still not cleaned. The excuse was that we have no staff. ||3. Room amenities - hilarious!||They placed sachets of tea, coffee, sugar on the table. But no cups or kettle. When asked for it, they said the kettle is out of order. And after hours they managed to get 4 cups and all of different sizes. 2 were so dirty we had to return them.||After cleaning the rooms, they took away our water bottles as well, but thankfully returned them when we demanded it back. Towels were given only when asked for it.||||Overall, a terrible experience. Will never recommend anyone...
