I stayed here for over 30 days as I need to take care of some personal business in Vizag. I loved it. Before I talk about anything else, what makes a place five star is the people. So, let me talk about that. Sravani at the front desk is phenomenal, Super efficient. First she made my reservation, finding me a very good rate. When the day came , she checked me in and everything was smooth. After that she made sure every whim I had was satisfied. Getting the safe ready, getting my bills on time etc. She is a joy to work with. She even gave me a fantastic room the second time I checked in. Mr.Murali was awesome as the operations manager. His attention to my needs was excellent. Anything I wanted, he would get it...and fast. Very communicative, very reactive. Very flexible. Ms.Mani running the rasa restaurant is a joy. Always smiling. Efficient. Tough when need be. Fulfilling my room service orders quickly. Ms.Satya in the restaurant is a joy to have around. She would make my breakfast just the special customized way I like and bring to me, even without asking, chatting with me, making my tea in the special way. Manikyam is always there to support me; treating me like family. Running and getting me what I need. Reddy, Chinna all serving me hand and foo. Overall, they make me feel like I was an important member of their family that they needed to make happy.

Read moreHey Vivana team,
We were quite a routine visitors to your place, every time it was a happy time however it is not this time!
When we ordered a lot of food along the way we were not happy with Mughlai Biryani since there was more lemon juice added to it. One of your staff who attended us tried to pretend that there wasn't any lemon! That was a disgusting moment for us!!! Somehow we politely denied it barring the idiotic way your staff had behaved. We paid the bill in full leaving the food aside.
It is minimum common sense that when someone walked into a reputed restaurant/hotel just that you stand out in terms of taste and ambience. If you can't promise it, do you think you deserve the respect? It is our right to express our views of the food we tasted, just that one of the items feedback was not in your tune the way you lowered yourself at that moment was surprising!!!
It was most unfortunate that they didn't even bother to apologize and showed some extra enthusiasm for the bill and tip!
We didn't expect this coming from Vivana such low standards and we resolved not to step in again. I have personally suggested Vivana to a lot of my colleagues in my current organisation Tech Mahindra and my previous organisations Concentrix and HSBC. I would regret just in case they come across such substandard behaviour...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at Hotel VivanaReview: My recent visit to Hotel Vivana with my brother and cousins left us thoroughly disappointed. While the air conditioning provided respite from the summer heat, the overall experience fell short in many aspects.Firstly, the ambiance and room were cramped, which detracted from our enjoyment. The staff seemed lacking in knowledge about their own cuisines, and we found the seafood options to be limited.Despite attempting to explore the menu, we were met with disappointment as many of our desired dishes were unavailable. Our order, including mixed biryani, mutton pulao, prawns, and chicken tandoori, was a letdown. The biryani was filled with bada fish and undercooked chicken, the mutton pulao was unbearable due to its overwhelming fat fragrance, and the prawns were both tiny and overpriced. To top it off, the chicken tandoori was also undercooked. Our two-hour dining experience amounted to a waste of time and money, as we left unsatisfied with both the food and service. It's disheartening that Hotel Vivana failed to maintain the quality of their food and service, leaving us with regret and an empty wallet. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Hotel Vivana based on this...
