I recently had the misfortune of dining at a restaurant that left me thoroughly disappointed and dissatisfied. From the moment I stepped through the door, it became clear that this establishment was far from meeting even the most basic standards of quality. Let me outline the multiple reasons why this dining experience was nothing short of a disaster.

First and foremost, the food was excessively spicy, to the point where it overwhelmed any chance of savoring the flavors or enjoying the meal. It seemed like the chef's sole mission was to assault our taste buds with an unrelenting barrage of heat. It's one thing to have spicy options on the menu for those who enjoy them, but when every dish is drenched in a fiery inferno, it becomes an unbearable ordeal for anyone with a more delicate palate. The lack of balance and consideration for different taste preferences was a clear sign of incompetence in the kitchen.

Furthermore, the waiting time at this restaurant was utterly ridiculous. The restaurant seemed to have no regard for its customers' time or their commitment to choosing their establishment. It was as if they thought our valuable time was expendable and inconsequential.

Overall, my experience at this restaurant was a complete disaster. From the unnecessarily spicy food to the exasperating waiting time and the lack of consideration for healthy choices, it was a total letdown. I strongly advise anyone seeking an enjoyable dining experience to steer clear of this establishment. There are countless other restaurants that provide exceptional service, well-balanced menus, and respect for their customers' time and taste preferences. Save yourself the disappointment and frustration by opting for a more competent and customer-oriented dining...

Have been to Spicy Venue many times and the last 2 times the service has been extremely slow and bad-mannered.

Food is an experience, and nobody wants to be served by people with faces full of attitude and body-language that makes the customer feel like they are being given free food and must be grateful for it.

Today's experience was like this. Unfortunate. The person who took our order didn't even wait for our questions to complete before cutting us off and responding with a generic answer. Made faces when we asked if there was a vacant table on the ground floor. The other person who served us was equally unsmiling and actively grumpy and all the staff members were seriously out to make the diners feel like they were totally unwelcome.

One may expect this sort of behaviour at a street baddi, not at Spicy Venue, which is not exactly inexpensive either to warrant such behaviour. The glass tumbler's rim was chipped and sharp—i remember telling them last time that it is a safety issue and people can cut their lip on it. So was surprised to see that this chipped glass tumbler is still being used.

Weird and hostile stares as if they wanted the diners to get out quickly. We understand closing hours. But as customers we pay the same full price for our order even at night time. And we arrived and finished our meal well before the stated closing hours of 10:30 and two families arrived after us also to eat.

Takeaway parcel was flattened and literally dumped on the table. Got home to find that the oil had leaked all over in the carrybag.

Some of my friends mentioned this serious deterioration in service and manners, but the last 2 times and especially today, we got to experience it ourselves.

Astonishingly ugly behaviour...

The Spicy Venue Restaurant is a fantastic place to experience authentic South Indian cuisine, particularly for those who appreciate bold flavors and a hint of spice. My recent visit was memorable due to the restaurant's excellent food quality, welcoming ambiance, and attentive service.

The menu is thoughtfully curated, offering a wide variety of traditional and contemporary dishes. Each dish is crafted with care, ensuring a perfect balance of flavors. Whether you're a fan of vegetarian or non-vegetarian fare, the options are plentiful, and the taste speaks volumes about their dedication to authenticity.

What stood out to me was the impeccable service. The staff were courteous, knowledgeable, and eager to ensure a comfortable dining experience. They patiently answered questions about the dishes and made thoughtful recommendations, which added a personal touch to the visit.

The ambiance of the restaurant is another highlight. It strikes a perfect balance between simplicity and elegance, making it a great choice for family gatherings, casual meals with friends, or even corporate lunches. The seating is spacious, and the interiors reflect a sense of warmth and cultural charm.

Although the pricing is slightly on the higher side, the overall experience justifies the cost. The quality, presentation, and attention to detail make it a worthwhile dining destination.

We visited this restaurant due to the hype we got from our friends. We reached at 10.25pm but were able to get the table and order everything in time before kitchen closed. Soup: Chicken manchow soup, this should be textbook, but it wasn’t tasting manchow, though it tasted good. Appetizers: Apollo Fish, Chilli Garlic Prawns and Veg Manchuria were too good options. Just no complaints. Apollo Fish was spicy and beat the other two. Mains: Extremely hyped MLA Potlam Biryani was a let down, we couldn’t get the real taste of it due to the sharp spice flavors. Have had better versions of these elsewhere. Won’t recommend. Special Chicken Biryani is the boneless version of chicken biryani. Nothing great, just usual one. Dessert: Again a famous dessert here, Apricot Delight was hyped by our friends. We almost ordered 7 of them for each of us. Luckily we canceled half of them in last min. Too sweet. Recommend eating it there. We were given in to go boxes much before we finished our main course as it was closing time. Ice cream melted by the time we had it. Couldn’t get the best taste of it. Overall an average experience, could have been better for the expensive prices.

This place was just OK to visit. There is valet parking facility too. Bright lighting. Nothing about ambiance. FOOD: I had chicken hot and sour soup, veg Manchurian, chilli chicken for starters. Salt was a bit high in soup. And the starters are real disaster. Manchurian balls and chicken are heavily coated in corn flour and very hard to have a bite. As per my knowledge chilli chicken should be smooth..But it's very hard to bite...Really very hard...So chinese/starters are a disaster in this restaurant. Coming to main course... THE MOST FAMOUS MLA POTLAM BIRYANI is purely a fluke propaganda. It's a simple mix of mutton kheema and prawn biryani made as a pack(potlam) with a thin hard egg omlet. Biryani was spicy...But not tasty. One will definitely won't find any speciality in this mla potlam biryani as promoted. I also had chicken fry piece biryani. I am still in dilema that The chicken was fry or dum. Don't know how to explain. Biryani of chicken fry biryani was good..But chicken disappointed since it's a half fried half boiled chicken. Service was ok.... Captain's are hurry to close a table. Don't know what's the reason.
