FoodEx — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

This is one popular place in Vizag city. Visited after many years. Should say, at one point in time there wasn't much competition so they thrived. Currently, they are anyways doing well. With increasing competition it becomes very important to have good food and very importantly best service. The food is the same as before, pastries etc. Unfortunately the service standards have not become any better. This I have observed at multiple places where they don't care about the service standards as they know the customers would either way come. That's unfortunate and also true as I see that despite so, people do visit as it has become a landmark place and works well to show off. Either way, we are paying for it. It would be much better if they could increase their service standards. Doesn't mean they are bad, allow me to make that clear. It's just that we start to expect a lot from such a popular joint and you probably end up disappointed. Regards to the food, which ideally is the main reason for our visit, had few pastries and others. There were good and fresh. I liked it. Certainly...

I knowthis place from last 15 yrs... Now a days the service is getting poor... Surprising on one of my visit I am proceeding with my self service order... It was given in a tray and my food places in tray... I carried the tray to the table and the counter person rushed to me saying don't take the tray... Did I hear it correctly... I was in with my kids and other family and they are surprised... How can we carry multiple items in a hand or walk inside the restaurant like a food supplier and they don't like me carrying the tray... Oh God... Did I pulled some thing which I am not authorized to? Over all I am inside a cafe...

Prior to this I was not given the bill and asking for money... doesn't they give the bill and I pay verifying it.... It's a horrible experience ... Its a decent area and I believe customers are well educated ... So if you don't expect any decency and just like a street side restaurant... It should be OK to visit... But one thing guys the varieties availability and ambience I liked ......

Require more stars for still being the leader in vizag in terms of bakery and milkshakes(Jack frost).

Close to 25+years association and Foodex is still the leader and peoples choice.

I dont want to waste your time by giving review on products that are available in food ex rather want to acknowledge on the resilence that this entity has shown in all these years with growing competition and new players entering innovatively.

But their business model has remained the same all through the years of being simple and accommodative to customers.

I would take special mention of Jack Frost(which is crowd favorite among all ages),even though you sip a milkshake with the giants in the world spending so much but if you are from vizag then surely your taste buds will crave...
