I stayed at Ivy Anjuna for 3 nights, It's a newly built property located very strategically.
The rooms give you a luxurious feel and their washrooms are big enough (Bigger than other 5-star properties I have stayed) fitted with all the modern facilities.
Architecture is simple & elegant with nice fountains at the entrance, Food is undoubtedly yummlicious, don't forget to try their "Mahi Tikka, Amritsari Fish & Fish Curry at their Zaffran restaurant
Staff is polite and courteous. I was happy to see my old friend and the GM of this hotel Mr. Alric Fernandes whom I met in Ozran Heights, Goa in 2014.
Best part about The Ivy Anjuna is
Location - Very near to Sunset Point, Thalasa Restaurant, Vagator beach As it is located near the starco junction, you have the accessibility to all the nice cafes & local shops around including a hypermart (Oxford Arcade)
Food - As said earlier, it's finger licking good
Cleanliness - At it's Best
Rooms - Comfortable & Cozy
Staff - Helpful, Caring & Polite
I would like to share one small incidence which would showcase how genuine these people are, I had a booking for 4 nights but unfortunately, I had to cut short my trip due to an emergency and these guys were so nice in arranging last minute taxi and waiving off my room rent for last day,
Guys if you are planning to visit Goa, Don't forget to stay at "The Ivy Anjuna" and lastly I would like to thank Mr. Sagar for proving all the help & Support
All the best will be visiting...
Read moreWe visited Goa last week (last week of mar 2019) and it was a great stay at Ivy anjuna. Hotel is great with large room, pool and covered underground parking. We really enjoyed our stay there. Room was comfortable and clean. We booked “double room with balcony”. Please don’t mistake it to be having two rooms - it’s single room with a king size mattress. Bathrooms were pretty large as well. The room had a small sofa which was really helpful. Balcony had two extra chairs as well. Hotel helped us to get a two wheeler, so didnt had to go out in search of it.
Cons - Free wifi was there in the package. But we were not given any (rather we didn’t ask for it. The room service guys are bit penny-pinchers! Jokes apart, the bathroom refills were never done during our stay. Thanks that the soap lasted for 4 days. We used our in paste and toothbrushes as well :) The buffet spread is just basic. And remember it’s a “North Indian” cuisine restaurant- so if you are a heavy breakfaster or prefers south food, chances are that you may be disappointed. However the smiles on the face of restaurant staff will help you to tide over it. Food is just repetitive - including breakfast spread and dinner menu.
Location- Anjuna is a quite place to stay, unlike Baga. Yes, when we went the beaches and shacks area empty as well! If you are someone who prefers to stay at a quiet place, this is the right one for you.
@management and staff, thanks for making our stay memorable...
Read moreVery nice place at a very sweet spot. Just opposite to The Westin Goa. Lots of shops nearby at walking distance of barely 50 meters. Rooms are pretty nice and clean. Room service is also great. Balcony is like a long balcony which is common for all the rooms. Breakfast has limited options but the quality of food is really good. Masala tea is served on request and is very good. The public is also decent and staff is courteous and helpful. They provide airport pickup/drop as well as numbers of vendors who provide you scooty/bike/car at rent directly at hotel. Really convenient and easy. There is also decent parking space in the basement. Only problem I found was with the bathroom. Its not well maintained. We had problems of water flowing evrywhere due to slow drainage in the shower & the shelf to keep soap is always filled with water due to the inclined angle so you cant really keep anything there. But if they fix bathroom a little bit then it is no less than a 5 star hotel for sure. I would definitely come back and would highly recommed this hotel...
