Ajantha Komforts — Hotel in Bengaluru

Stayed here for a day in October 2018. It's located on the main road in JP Nagar 7th phase and very easy to locate / reach. The room I was given was very spacious, and it was well-appointed - comfortable bed, fresh linen, a lot of walking space, tables with chairs, and space to keep the stuff. The bathroom was clean too.||||What put me off:||||1. There is no in-house restaurant and they provide no facility to make your tea / coffee. I asked one of the attendants to get me some noodles from outside and what he brought was poor in quality, small in quantity and he charged me almost double the price of what it would have costed.||2. My ClearTrip voucher clearly mentioned complimentary breakfast and it was not provided to me.||3. There is a phone in the room but if you want to call front desk, you can't. They don't mention the number anywhere. I tried 9 and 0 and it did not go through.||4. After some asking around I was given the wi-fi password, but I could never connect to internet using their wi-fi.||5. The cable TV worked on the day I checked in and the next morning it stopped working, saying, subscription expired!||6. The front-desk staff during check-in and check-out were unwelcoming - they behaved as if I was disturbing them.||||I may still come back for its location and sleep comfort and I know I should not expect...

Positive Points:

Spacious Rooms. Good Service. Polite, Courteous and well behaved Staff.

Negative Points

Parking space is Minimum. It if filled by mostly two wheelers.Think it is shared by the residents of the whole building if you go in a slightly bigger car you may have problems even turning the car in the Parking lot.

If You are a early bird and wake up early, No tea or Coffee before 6 AM. As there is no restaurant at the hotel everything has to come from outside and the hotel charges you extra for it too.

Door stoppers have worn out or Not fixed properly as a result doors make a lot of Noise , Doors need to be realigned .

Toilet doors can only be locked from inside the toilet Else the toilet doors remain open.

The hotel is on the second floor and if the lift breaks down it's a problem for senior citizens ( I am pointing out this problem as the lift had broken down on the day we checked in and my Dad who is 70+ had issues with it, It was fixed the next day)

First entered the basement parking lot - the attendant was very helpful. Came to the reception counter. Manager was at the counter and he was also helpful. Next came the room boys - equally helpful. Spacious Room with clean bath room. Had a good breakfast at the hotel next to this property. On the whole a good stay. Was apprehensive after reading lot of negative feedback. While returning I tipped the parking lot attendant - He gave me a shock. He refused to accept my tips '- he said in English that he is happy with the salary and I apologized to him for offering a tip.
