The place looks good. Soothing black and white colonial style building slightly away from the main road so quiet as well. But if you're looking for hospitality and courteousness this isnt the place. We were staying with a 11 month old child and my elderly mother. Had requested for bowls and some basic cutlery in the room. Housekeeping told us that unless we order food from them they dont give it. Not only is that bizarre but also do tell us what the restaurant keeps for an 11 month old infant? The manager when called for the same. Yelled saying dont drag the matter. You want bowls il give you but my staff will not wash your utensils when you're not ordering my food wash it yourself. The baby left some spit on the bedsheet one of the days. Lakshmi the housekeeping in charge comes to ask why the baby is sleeping in the bed. And says that they're out of bed protectors. Which btw never came. Housekeeping staffs idea of cleaning is to broom everything under the furniture. So that ince when we moved the couch to pull out something. Found it full of trash lying from God knows when. One room didnt have hair dryer. One room ddint have water boiler. None of the rooms were regularly replaced with daily toiletries or basic coffee etc. The housekeeping staff when asked to wash the coffee mugs in the room. Went to rinse it in the washroom rather then take it to their pantry. Then lied to our faces about doing the same when asked about it in front of the manager. When one of the children staying with us was sent down to reception to ask for replacing. The desk staff had the gall to yell at a 12 year old child that she and her relatives were rude and making the hotel staff miserable. Even if you have issues with the guests. How dare you take it out on a child? Had booked for a 2+1 room. Instead of giving extra pillows housekeeping just pulled a pillow from the bed and put it on the extra bed. One of the housekeeping staff found a wallet and had the gall to open it and examine its contents. And tried to steal even though we were in the room. The manager is equally useless. He did his best to avoid calls after yelling at us on the first day. Only coming on the last day with a fake apology when my mother refused to leave the premises without...
Read moreBooked a room in this hotel thru MMT prepaid. Reached the hotel in the night around 11.30. They told me that there was water leakage in the hotel and hence rooms could not be occupied, so they shifted all customers to another hotel nearby. They also shifted me in their car to an apart-hotel of a low class budget type 6 kms away. The reception staff was rude there. A/X was not working in the room and very very small room. The Liwa front office guy asked me to call in the morning to pick me up and take me to Liwa again for breakfast. After getting ready I called the receptionist and he arranged to pick me up 15 mins later. When I reached Liwa, he told me that my room was ready and handed over me the key. I could see many guests were staying in the hotel. So I understood that the hotel people has sold my room to another customer and took me for a ride and told me a lie that the hotel was under maintenance. It seems that they have a tie up with low class hotels in the vicinity and they take overbookings. So for the customers who check in late, they force the customers to get checked in the low class hotels. By this they charge for 3 star ac room and provide accommodation in budget hotels and milk money from the gullible customers. Bloody cheats. They will even sell their wife, mother and daughters...
Read moreNice hotel on the way to / from the Bangalore Airport, just after the city in a quiet locality a little off the highway after Hebbal, right opposite to the Jakkur Areodrome; marked on google maps, serviced by Ola & Uber. Plenty of open parking just outside the hotel in case you go by your own vehicle. Hotel transport available for drop to airport, etc, though a little expensive.
Greeted by a peaceful smiling Buddha statue at the lobby on entry. Rooms with nice view, quiet & comfortable. Bath rooms spacious & clean. Managed well by house keeping staff.
Professionally managed, Clean & tidy in all aspects. All staff helpful & courteous - at the Front office, House keeping & Restaurant. Special mention of restaurant staff Vikram Singh, Sachin & Om Prakash for their excellent service, quick & efficient ! Also the Chef Iqbaal for quick turnaround of orders !
Some may find the food a little spicy, do mention in advance what you want, should be taken care of. Coffee / Tea can be made better tasting, though.
Good spread of the continental Break-fast buffet, to suit the local & international travelers frequenting the place. A nice little balcony at the end of the corridor after the restaurant, facing the outside with seats for a...
