Truffles— aka my comfort food temple 🍽️✨

Been here more times than I’ve hit snooze on a Monday. And guess what? They never disappoint. Ever. The food? Always hits harder than my deadlines. The service? Top-tier. Staff moves faster than my Wi-Fi on a good day. Even when the place is packed (which is always), my food lands on the table like it’s got VIP access.

This time’s lineup:

• Peri Peri Saucy Fries: Mild, tasty, and not trying to set my tongue on fire like some drama-loving peri peri wannabes. Balanced spice, actual flavor. Respect. • Chicken Stroganoff: Creamy white sauce, tender chicken, and a whole lotta “YUMMM.” I may or may not have closed my eyes mid-bite. • Mac n Cheese Pizza: Bro. This one slapped. Like, emotionally. Cheese on cheese on carbs—my soul ascended. • Corn & Mushroom Wrap: Solid. Not the star of the show, but definitely deserves a round of applause. • Beverage trio: Peach iced tea, green apple fizz, and blackberry drink. All refreshing, all vibing. Felt like I was sipping on summer. • The Grand Finale: Dutch Truffle 🍫 OH. MY. GOWDDDS. This dessert deserves its own Netflix series. So soft. So gooey. So unapologetically chocolaty. I had a full-blown foodgasm. Entered a food coma. Saw chocolate angels. Woke up smiling.

Overall? Truffles continues to be my happy place. Comfort food, quick service, and desserts that make me question reality. If you haven’t been, go. If you’ve been, go again. And if you’re me… well, you’re probably already planning...

Over the years, Truffles has reduced server interaction with customers, seemingly for the company's benefit. Customers are now expected to pour their own water and place orders digitally with minimal assistance. While servers are available upon request, do not expect traditional restaurant-style commitment or service. This is not the servers' fault, but rather a management decision.

Having visited Truffles sporadically for a decade, I've observed a shift in food quality. Previously, dishes tasted as if prepared by a chef; now, while visually appealing, the taste is often starchy. There's a noticeable overuse of sauces and mayonnaise, which tends to mask finer flavor elements. Furthermore, quality garnishes and spices are used sparingly (cost cutting measures may be).

Truffles is undoubtedly popular among Gen Z. However, for those of us who have experienced and prepared fine dining cuisine, the current offerings fall short in terms of taste and aroma. While it serves its purpose for a younger demographic, the management should consider addressing these concerns. It would be worthwhile to introduce some high-quality dishes alongside the current menu, rather than relying on what feels like cloud kitchen-style food mostly.

𝐀𝐦𝐛𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞: Considering the hype for truffles in Bangalore and that it is a new one in the area, it was crowded. But it still wasn't as noisy as a fish market as described in one of the reviews. Loved the white and pastel pink wall color.

𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐬: comfortable Seats to accommodate 2, 4, 6, 8 pax

𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞: i liked it very much. The staff was considerate and there were people at the counter watching over us like a hawk, all you need is to raise your Hand and wait for them to see you :), they'll be at your service ;)

𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐟𝐟 𝐛𝐞𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐢𝐨𝐮𝐫: Polite and Helpful.

𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐲: In my opinion, i wouldn't call it affordable but I can say that few items do just to their price.

𝐂𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬: very clean. As soon as the guests leave, they're quick enough to carry a caddy box for cleaning.

𝐌𝐞𝐧𝐮 𝐎𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬: A good range of both veg and non veg.

𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝: crunchy chicken salad, cheesy fries, fiery baby corn, chicken Panini. 𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲: 1.) crunchy chicken salad- 9.5/10 - it was good just that chicken was less. 2.) chicken Panini - 4/10 3.) fiery baby corn- 10/10 4.) cheesy fries- 10/10 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: average 𝐏𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞: enough for one
