Ramanashree Richmond Hotel is a 3-star hotel located near Richmond Road, Bangalore[1]. It is a convenient choice for business travellers, as it is close to the major corporate hubs and tourist attractions in the city[2]. The hotel has two in-house restaurants, Parika and Kudla, that serve multi-cuisine and coastal delicacies respectively[1]. The hotel also has a banquet and conference hall, a fitness centre, and a travel desk[1].
However, I was not very satisfied with the quality of the rooms and the service at the hotel. The rooms were ok, but not very clean. Many fixtures were broken, such as the TV box, the refrigerator, and the air conditioner. The TV box was replaced twice, but the second one had its subscription expiring before we left. I reported this issue, but it was not addressed. The air conditioner was working, but not cold enough for my liking. The bathroom was also a problem, as it flooded every time I used it. It seemed that the drain strainer was clogged, but the cleaning staff did not notice or fix it. The staff needs to be more thorough in cleaning and maintaining the hotel rooms.
I give Ramanashree Richmond Hotel 3 stars out of 5, because it is a decent hotel with a good location and facilities, but it also has a lot of room for improvement in terms of cleanliness...
Read moreI booked a suite for my parents on my dad's 75th birthday. It turned out to be a nightmare. The living room airconditioner was broken and the temperature would not go below 27. We had to turn it off. Did not get fixed despite complaining.
The bathroom had dead cockroaches that we cleaned ourselves.
The refrigerator door was broken.
Finally, after we all left after our party leaving our aged parents in the suite, they locked the main door and then also closed the bedroom door for the night. When they woke up in the morning the bedroom door would not open as it has self locked as a spring or a lever was broken.
My parents panicked and were palpitating. The bedroom did not have a telephone directory for them to call anyone for any help. They gathered themselves and then called us using their cell phones, crying.
We had to call the hotel reception and then they had to go and break somethings to open the door.
A VERY bad and unforgettable experience. Pathetic rooms. Pathetic eye for cleanliness and hygiene. I would not recommend anyone to use this property without inspecting thoroughly. Money paid by me is a waste and gone down the drain.
Never coming back.

Read moreI have lived in Bengaluru for 6 years and had never heard of this hotel. Had visited others in the vicinity but not this. As this time I was travelling from Mumbai for a business trip saw this one and gave a shot.||Really spacious , well lit, enough space and well maintained rooms will welcome you. I took a signet room and it didn't disappoint. They had wardrobes along with a workspace which allowed me to quickly complete work with out discomfort.||Washrooms are well maintained and hygienic, they have all the required toiletries available and gets refilled every day. Cherry on the cake, signet rooms had bathtubs :D.||Coming to food, we had breakfast included - They have a dine-in or a room service as you prefer. Quality staff with good service. Breakfast options are majorly Indian, with couple of western items included, but I felt they all were enough and sufficient.||Room service was quick, and cleaning was done everyday.||I literally loved the entire stay, honestly I was choosing IBIS above this, but I don't regret at all. The rooms are bigger, the service is better.||You should definitely give this...
