I stayed at IBIS Hotel, City Centre Bangalore for 4 nights, and unfortunately, the experience was far from what one would expect from a hotel positioned as a 3-4 star property. To begin with, the rooms are quite small given the high room tariff. The space constraints were disappointing, especially considering the price charged. The buffet food quality was subpar and did not meet the standards of a premium hotel — variety was limited, and taste was below expectations. What made the stay worse was the persistent foul smell in the corridor, which remained unresolved despite multiple complaints to the staff. It’s unacceptable for a hospitality brand to ignore basic hygiene concerns raised by guests. However, the most unpleasant part was during checkout. Despite booking for only 4 nights and confirming the same with the front desk a day prior, the staff — especially a sales executive named Manoj — harassed me and forcefully charged an extra night in the name of cancellation. His behavior was rude, unprofessional, and bordered on extortion. It left a sour taste at the end of an already disappointing stay. Beware before booking this hotel. There are better options in the city that offer value for money, basic courtesy, and professional service — things clearly lacking here.

Dropped by this place recently and here’s my honest take. The food was alright—not bad, but nothing too special either except peanut chaat and starters. If you’re not super picky, it does the job. The good part is they’ve got a lot of options, and they’re happy to tweak things to your taste, which is always a plus. Bar is good! What I really liked though was the ambience—especially in the evening. The vibe gets much better once the sun goes down, and with the city lights around, it’s actually a nice place to just sit and relax. The location is a big win—it’s right in the middle of the city near MG Road, so super convenient to get to whether you’re staying at the hotel or just passing by. So yeah, not the best food in town, but if you’re looking for a calm, central spot with decent variety and a nice evening vibe, it’s worth checking out.

I am giving 2 star rating because of good and tasty food. But otherwise, I am so much disappointed with service from such a high rated hotel group. Location can be considered as good. Room was very tiny and not worth to pay 5k per night. No slippers. No laundry bag. Room cleaning - pathetic service. They don't even change bedsheets and do floor cleaning. Table lamp was not working which was taken care after 2 days. Window curtains are full of dust. Even rooms are very dusty. Bathroom - very tiny. Only single person will fit inside. No hand towel. Stained sink. No tissue paper. I will not recommended this hotel to anyone for stay. Ibis accor group must train their cleaning staff about cleanliness and neatness. I regret my stay here.

Smart Comfort in the Heart of the City

Located just off Richmond Road, ibis Bengaluru City Centre offers a practical and well-connected stay for business and leisure travelers alike. With Cubbon Park, MG Road, and UB City just minutes away, the hotel’s central location is a major plus.

🛏️ Rooms: Compact yet thoughtfully designed, the rooms are clean, soundproofed, and equipped with essentials like a work desk, flat-screen TV, and blackout curtains. While space is limited, the layout makes the most of it.

🍳 Dining: The on-site restaurant Spice It serves a mix of Indian and international cuisine, and the breakfast spread available from 4 AM to noon is a standout feature. The rooftop bar offers great city views and a relaxed vibe.

👥 Service: Staff are courteous and professional, with housekeeping and front desk teams often praised for their responsiveness. Some guests have noted occasional delays at check-in, but overall service remains friendly and efficient.

📶 Amenities: Free Wi-Fi, fitness center, airport transfers, and meeting rooms make it a solid choice for business travelers. Parking is available, and the property is family-friendly.

📝 Room for Improvement:

• Rooms may feel tight for longer stays or families.

🌟 Final Verdict: If you’re seeking a clean, modern, and centrally located hotel with reliable service and a great breakfast, ibis Bengaluru City Centre delivers.

A Perfect Stay for Music Lovers and Solo Travelers!

I had an amazing stay at this hotel, which is perfectly located near the Majestic bus stand—super convenient for getting around the city. The vibe of the place is really cool, especially for young travelers and anyone who loves music. One of my favorite touches was the Spotify scan codes placed all around the room—such a creative and fun idea that added to the whole experience!

The room itself was very comfortable, and the overall ambiance made me feel right at home. The service was top-notch from start to finish. I enjoyed both the breakfast buffet and lunch at their in-house restaurant, and I have to say, the food was absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed.

A special shout-out to Mr. Irfan, who was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. As I was traveling alone, his support truly made a difference and made me feel safe and well taken care of.

There was also one F&B associate in the restaurant during lunch who took especially good care of me—making sure everything was served on time and checking in to see if I needed anything else. He was genuinely caring and attentive, and although I regret forgetting his name, I want to express my sincere thanks to him as well.

Next time I visit Bangalore, this hotel will definitely be my first choice. I’ll 100% recommend it to all my...
