Taj Inn Residency — Hotel in Delhi

Such a pathetic and strange experience I had. The owner and staff,both were ill-mannered. Firstly I booked the room by walk-in, one week ago...and paid advance too. And at the time of arrival, they were unaware due to their staff lie or whatever management they call. Secondly...they gave me some different room from the previous room shown to me, in person, and asked for a higher charges due to non-availability of room. Later they shift us to a way more small room which was so absurd. Thirdly the room service...the ac was not working..i complaint while going out 12 in the afternoon...they even asked for keys...but when arrived back ... The condition was same...and when asked or questioned...they say like..you don't buy us...you can leave...such an informal manner of addressing an hospitality business in that kind of prime location...the guy on reception was so much egoistic and when i got so much angry....i just walked close to him and said to just shut up...it got recorded..and the owner was showing me the video of my this act...lol...the guest is having a horrible experience..that doesn't concern him and her...and now coming to the next point...on the talk with the owner about all this problem about her staff lieing, she was acting as normal and she was also same , saying "to go away" without giving the full refund...in that call i might have said...the word "yrr"...that became the issue for them ..such an equality and calmness they say in their words and actions are so ironic...the ac problem was only servicing (cleaning)...that took the whole evening time...we had the family... And experiencing this ..you can imagine...and lastly..they also don't have RO water...they just offer packed/chargable water..saying this hotel doesn't provide RO water....i am.also attaching the images of the room they gave us ..such a dirty and pitty room....never recommend this...

This is the first time I stayed there. I should admit that the reasons for my choice were.... My Gym (GOLD GYM) is just opposite of the road, our branch office is nearby & I am used to this locality as I have always stayed around. Starting with location, this cannot be better as it is just below the Kailash colony Metro Station. Regarding the hotel: Small hotel with only one floor and hence limited inventory Service is rather more homely as there are couple of Service boys Room which I stayed was comfortable and no complaints. Thought it was pricey but this may have been more because of the time (Wedding season) Breakfast is non-existent. Available on demand. No spread, etc. I ordered for Dinner on demand and it was nice simple food which I liked On the first couple of days I had to ask, on my return to hotel in evening, to place fresh towels and water bottle. This should have automatically done post cleaning up of room. There was no Tea/Coffee maker in room which actually is a MUST and or available even in the smallest of the hotels.

The staff seemed good to talk to and seemed open for suggestions.

"I had a horrible stay at Taj Inn Residency Delhi. It was a big disappointment.

Staff acted weird: They weren’t friendly and didn’t help when I needed. No clean drinking water: I asked for RO water, but they didn’t have it. Still they charged like it was there. Broken AC made it tough: Air conditioning wasn’t working right. Made the room super hot. Money trouble: They didn’t give back money for things that didn’t work. Kept charging for stuff they didn’t deliver. Overall feel was nasty: Felt like they didn’t care about guests at all.

Bottom Line Taj Inn Residency Delhi is a bad choice. Don’t waste money staying here. Service was awful and things broke. I won’t tell anyone to go there.
