Hotel Chakky's — Hotel in Edapally

Am going to say about chakky's Beer and Wine parlour only. It has got the advantage of an excellent location, diagonally opposite to Lulu mall at Edappally, Cochin. There are three bars here, 1 substandard for locals, 2. a medium one and 3. a better one. Except the substandard other two are air conditioned. You get only beer and wine from here-all good brands, including Budweiser. 2 and 3 are reasonably neat. The food is very good here. No much rush. Price is reasonable. Good staff. It is ideally located in the heart of the city. Not all of the rooms are good. The first time I stayed there, I did not like the room. But then it was the last available one and it was late in the night. I felt the lighting in the room was very low and the bathroom was scary. The second time I visited I made it a point to choose the room by its number, as it was earlier occupied by our friends. Hotel Chakkys is situated adjacent to the Edappilly junction towards its North Eastern side. The National highway from Aluva and that from Varapuzha converge here and leads to Alapuzha.In the earlier days and prior to the construction of metro and the Lulu Mall Hotel Chakkys had a prime time and I had often visited this place.In spite of all the busy Malls and hotels around I have an affinity to visit this place just to spend time with friends little away...
