Big Daddy’s Inn — Hotel in Goa

I went to Goa for 2 days with my wife. I don't know where to start but I'll try to list down my whole experience one by one :-I had booked the room for 2 nights. From 7th December to 9th December 2018. I had paid extra for breakfast as well. Morning of 8th December I got message that I have checked out early. An early checkout fee of Rs 1500 was charged.-Now while sitting on Anjuna Beach, I had to call hotel. Hotel said that they don't know anything and I should contact OYO. -I then contacted OYO and they told that hotel has done checkout. -After waiting for around 1 hour, I was told to pay Rs 1500 to the hotel for making one more booking from 8th to 9th December. He told that Rs 1500 will be refunded after 7 working days.-After talking for 1 more hour complimentary room was booked.-This room didn't include any breakfast for which I was again asked to pay to which I declined as I had paid already for 2 days breakfast beforehand. -9th morning I got a call saying that breakfast has been added. -9th morning when we woke up at 8:30 am, water was not coming in the bathroom. We didn't have water for brushing and freshen up. We thought its a temporary issue and informed hotel reception.-we waited till 11:30 am but there was no water in the bathroom. I logged a complain with oyo as well.-They provided us bathroom of another room at 11:30 am where we had to get freshen up. - We checked out around 1 pm as it took time to get freshen up. I had planned to visit few places in the morning which I had to skip as my bus was at 5 pm. Oyo together with hotel ruined my...

This is a strictly budget property, but made special by the wonderful people servicing this place. Aseed, the room service guy, was always just a few seconds away. It was surprising to see that at any time of the day or night, he was so quick to respond and would always heed to your requests. Even a 5 star property fails to provide such a quick service, at times.||||We were here for 2 days with friends.||||Room :||They have only two category rooms, one with balcony and one without. We were in a very good sized room with a nice balcony for that all important morning tea. All rooms have a good working AC. The bed has clean sheets and extra blankets are kept in the cupboard. Two towels are also provided.||||The bathroom is quite big and a geyser is provided for hot water at all times.||||We happened to meet the co-owner Mr. Vikas Palande, who was quite happy to guide us to local hot spots and even got us a free entry to a club in Baga on friday night. (For 5 boys stags, this was awesome :-)||||They also a have a restaurant by the sea side on the main road towards the beach named "Garden Grill". It had a deck overlooking the sea and they served some kickass Cheese Garlic naan and hookah. We noticed that their manager and the staff are fluent in Russian, seems this is a place frequented by Russians. It was quite a fun night for us giving our vocals chords that stretch at the Karaoke bar. Please do not book this place. If you are a big group and throwing around a lot of money, you would be treated very well or else you will get treated like absolute nobody.

I opened the balcony door to have a seat and the table and chairs were covered in a inch of dust and I got in, to my dispair I switched on the fan only to find it covered in a lot of fungus.

Don't even get me started on the food, pooris covered in palm oil was served on day 1 with bhaaji, needless to say I cursed myself for the stupidity.

No matter how polite I was it did not make any difference. They wanted money for every little thing.

Instance 1- I asked for early check in and was told it would be 30% of the total booking I said fine, I don't have an option. Checked with Oyo and they said it would be decided by the property owner at the time of check in and based on availability (Fair enough)

Instance 2- I asked for late check-out, now this time I called up Oyo again and asked them for availability and if I need to pay extra they said No it is complementary and the rooms are available. Checked with hotel and they said I need to pay extra again, this completely put me off.
