Namaste Jungle Cottages Goa — Hotel in Goa

Rooms were basic however too many insects. Would be good for the property to have provisions. Eg one window did not have the insect net vs some did

Service was pretty horrible. We stayed here for two nights and the first night there was no staff available and no way to contact them since there was no network. I left a WhatsApp message to the hotel staff but the response was much later. The next day for breakfast, there was nobody around to take the food order after we ordered tea.

Lastly one of my shirts lost some colour on the bed sheet in the humidity. We paid almost a third of the price of the room for damage to the bedsheet and the manager could have been less rude about the issue.

I love this place! I booked to go to Purple Valley and due to time difference I decided to come in early to India to relax and adapt. I found this place on google maps as it's right next door to Purple Valley. I was welcomed, Monty and Shristi are amazing hosts, the rooms are clean, beautiful, hot water, quiet (it's very noisy during the night in Assagoa!) and just an awesome place. You end up chatting to other guests and chilling, even going on random adventures to explore local markets (!). Namaste Jungle is a lovely creation by Monty, with cottages in the backyard of this vast property. The cottages are well equipped and serviced, and placed in a lovely area away from any other human bustle. It can get warm in the afternoons due to the lack of AC, but if you're coming to Goa you're unlikely to be in the room at that time.
