Saké - The Asian Lounge — Restaurant in Goa

Saké- The Asian Lounge is Assagao’s newest lounge opened amidst the lush & serene area, serving a mix Pan Asian & Cantonese cusine. On my visit here, I tried some of their signature dishes & drinks! I started of with their Signature Cocktails, all of which were Gin based. I’m not always a huge fan of Cocktails along with my food, but Saké’s “You give me Butterflies” changed the game, ngl. 🥰

For food, I tried out the Sushi on a Crack & Crispy Prawn Cheung Fun, again bestsellers. The Sushi on a crack was quiet an interesting concept, Tuna mixed with Wasabi mayo & Seaweed, served on rice crackers, this felt like a crunchy yet creamy bite of all classic Japanese flavours! The Cheung Fun, is basically rice steamed noodle rolls stuffed with various fillings, mine was wrapped around crunchy fried plump prawns, served along some sweet soy sauce. These two dishes were an absolute banger! The Steamed Spinach Rolls with Shrimp was amazing! It was cooked to perfection & it balanced well along with the Chilli Sauce & Fried onions. The Cheese Chilli dumplings too, were scrumptious as they were literally melt in the mouth! We also tried some classic sushis like Avocado & Crunchy Asparagus Roll, Prawn Tempura Roll & Spicy Salmon Avocado Roll, all of which were extremely good in quality! 😍🤤

Coming to desserts, Saké has very limited options to choose from, however they have something for everybody. I tried their Nama Chocolate, a ridiculously luxurious & absolutely dense block of Japanese-style ganache! This was way too rich, & if you know me personally, I love an absolutely chocolatey dessert! The Sticky Date Cake with Whisky Toffee Sauce served with a dollop of Vanilla Ice-cream & the Kaya Toast, served alongside some Coffee Ice cream was also pretty good & flavourful. ✨

Overall, my experience at Saké was extremely amazing as the staff also knows what they’re selling. The ambiance is amazing & makes it the perfect place for dinner dates! It may be a little on the pricey side, however for the quality and taste, I definitely am going back again! I definitely recommend trying them for an unforgettable Pan Asian...

Its been a while I have moved to Goa. Exploring local food around making new friends. But one thing I was craving for - Japanese Food !

Luckily I found a place - doing a mix of Cantonese & Japanese Food right in the heart of Goa - Assagao. I visited newly opened restaurant SAKE @sake.goa - making asian food fun and affordable.

Has a courtyard in front (which is not operational due to monsoon) and as you Enter you will be surprised with a new fresh air. Decor and lighting of the place is aesthetically pleasant, a minimalist approach. Has two levels catering to large and small gathering with some private dining area.

A well curated food menu by Chef Harsh Dixit @chefharsh will get you some surprise with signature dishes.

An eclectic mix of Cocktails at the Bar is done by @rohanbarbosa . Lot of infusions with the Gin and I personally love it. From the Dessert Section I tried ‘Nama Chocolate’ - being a complete chocolate lover - full chocolate loaded decadence. Oh so yummmm.
