Pros||Decent Breakfast||budget stay||good locality||||Cons||impolite staff||dingy smelly rooms||nothing like what the photographs in OYO shows||TV, AC may not work||No wifi in rooms, signal is very weak as well||||Detailed review follows||||To start with, everyone needs to know how a vacation comes about usually when you are travelling with your family including your parents and cousins. It takes a whole lot of planning and scheduling to get things right and you want to make it the best within the budget because hey, that's is the whole point right? I myself am a careful planner when it comes to trips and this hotel (OYO) was probably wherein my judgement went for a toss. Our long awaited trip to Goa was all really good except for the Resort Village Royale and I am going to detail as much as possible.||||The booking was easy through OYO. We were charged around 12k for 03 nights for 3 rooms (7 people and a kid in total). The photos look real appealing in the OYO website but it is far from the truth. The rooms we were given were dingy, with dilapidated beds, dusty cupboards and smelly bathrooms. One of the rooms did not have lock inside its toilet! We asked them for better rooms and the reply received was that all the rooms were similar. Since we arrived late afternoon and wanted to get some rest, we reluctantly took the rooms.||||The situation got worse during the 03 days we stayed there. The TV in all the rooms stopped working since they had not recharged their Dish TV package. As far as I remember, we called them up for almost 4-5 times to recharge it but nothing happened. Then the AC in the room in which me and my wife stayed stopped working in the night. Someone came to check the AC and said it would take time since they had to refill the gas. Now we were forced to shift our room in the middle of the night and that too to the 05th floor of their building complex. And mind you there is no lift! And no luggage boy to take your heavy luggage. Imagine our plight!||||The reception people were not very cordial in general (they keep changing daily, some of them were polite). Most of them acted as if they were providing some sort of free service.||||All in all, just to remind you all that a good stay is mandatory for your vacation to be complete and Resort Village Royale doesn't provide that, even if you call it a budget resort. Maybe not everyone will experience what we went through (mostly bachelors come here and maybe they are okay with what they get). ||||NOT...
Read moreA venue with a splendid backdrop. Ideal For people who like to take a break from the harshness and noise of the regular city life. This place is just like a paradise for people living in a tight and stressful environment. (I visited in the month of September 2024 and at this time, there was some construction work going on so do expect some minor disturbances. It will get finished soon)

Read morePathetic Experience with TripXL – Total Fraud and Unprofessionalism.
Our experience with TripXL was absolutely horrible and one of the worst trips we’ve ever had. The team, especially Bhavin, was completely irresponsible and unresponsive from the start. None of our queries were addressed properly, and once the payment was made, their attitude changed completely.
We had booked 3 days of sightseeing , but they provided service for only 2 days. Several things that were promised before booking were denied after reaching the destination .On top of that, the hotel provided was of third-class quality, not even close to the ₹22,500 we paid .
The condition of the hotel was disgusting — AC not working, foul smell everywhere, moss all around, and unbelievably, the staff were offering weed and inviting guests to join their parties!. This was unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.
When questioned, the hotel manager admitted that they couldn’t allot us a room until TripXL gave “permission,” even though rooms were available. Imagine the level of mismanagement and disrespect!
TripXL has cheated and looted customers in the name of service. You’ve ruined what was supposed to be a relaxing trip. And now, you don’t even have the courage to respond to complaints — proving how guilty and cowardly your team is.
Shameful. Failed service. Failed business. Would never recommend...
