Venice Restaurant & Bar — Restaurant in Goa

I went to this hotel and one of old man while taking the order asking me to order all the things at one time even for the main course I asked him we are not running out we will order according to our convenient but he was forcing us to order at single.... Then we order chicken chilly dry after ordering we got the dish but that was something reducalas acoording his look and taste too I asked waiter the old man that this is not chicken chilly dry he said this is Indian make chicken chilly dish I asked him have I asked you to cook the Chinese dish in Indian flavour he said once you order anything it will not cancel the forced me too take the order and said if you don't like the food you can pay the bill and leave the restaurant.... Had my daughter's first birthday celebrated here in 2012 as a private party in the afternoon. Was very disappointed with the size of portions of food served. Main course was less and although we had paid for 250 guests, about 20% guest had less food. Ice cream cups were so small that even kids were surprised. Bottled water brand was unheard of not reliable. We had a few outstation guests and we lost face to them for such low quality food. Spoke with the owner, an elderly gentleman who acted innocent and lost but very happily accepted the full money. Just a horrible place to have private parties as you can do nothing once they start...

So first of all sry for the half eaten food pics ,I later realised I wanted to review lol. So venice has 2 kinds of seating, one with a garden theme and one is like a typical vintage bar and restraunt with a AC seating available. The food is superb and drinks r obviously good.do try prawn biryani and chicken lollipop for starters .the staff is welcoming ,friendly and helpful.the place is easy to find. If you have kids I would recommend the garden...
