This is a detailed review about how these people torture you. They booked my room and took rent and deposit. They did zero documentation ans orientation except some little information passed on by the guard. I shifted to the room found that the AC was not working, I contacted 3 people including the property manager Ayush. They said we will shift you to new room for a day and fix your room. I have their word. The next day they cut the electricity of this new room at 6AM. I conveyed and here comes the first apology. Anyway I went to my office and this Ayush guy gave me word that your own room AC will be fixed. I came back at night to my room and AC was exactly in same condition, frustrated I called Ayush, seeing my frustration Ayush should have been considerate instead he started blasting that I myself have checked the AC fully working, I was shocked. I decided this guy is good for nothing as I have never actually found him on the premises, this property is left to run on the confidence of the guard who being a nice guy have 0 authority and contacts. Anyway I ring their cluster manager Udyalka, she said let me see what went wrong, 10 minutes later she called me again that AC is not working because it has no Gas. This made me so angry because Ayush particularly mentioned he himself checked and did everything. And then came the wave of Second apologies. 1 week passed and then I was coming from outside Delhi and reach at 4am in my room, turns out that there is no electricity, I reached out to guard, poor guy try ringing this Ayush and others, nobody helped him. Then I tried calling Ayush put his phone switched off at night seems like, his sleep is more important being a property manager never present on the premises. For an hour I was roaming on the streets try ringing everyone. Then somehow I got some contact in totally different Housr property and he helped me and he told me your electricity credit is in negative, I was like what??? Nobody ever ever mentioned this to me. He helped to fix that and 2 hours later finally I could go to sleep. Next morning Ayush magically appears and apologised for the 3rd time and guess what, he tried to blame on me that I was never found on the property and hence he couldn't tell me about this electricity thing with a straight face. That day I decided I am living at a place run by highly incompetent and frauds. I communicated almost like mid way in the month that I will leave at the end and you can adjust the deposit. But but but here comes the last bomb, Ayush told me no you pay the rent and your deposit will be transferred to you after 45 days of your exit. Again I was shocked. I asked him to produce any document any whatsapp chat mentioning this. And this vile creature silently triggers mesaage on Housr whatsapp and emails to complete my onboarding and upload aadhar and all after like a month of my stay, these messages were never ever delivered. I have never ever seen such incompetent and irresponsible people ever in my life. I decided to leave the property, after consulting my cousin who is an advocate in Delhi Hight Court immediately regardless of what they owe me. I have all the whatsapp chats of their 5 apologies within 2 weeks.
I have gone through tonnes of anxiety and mental torture while paying exorbitant amount for just a room nust because I want to have a nice sleep after my hectic...
Read moreMy experience with Housr has been nothing short of frustrating. While they market themselves as a premier co-living space in Gurgaon, the reality has been quite different.
For starters, I encountered significant issues with the internet connection, which lasted about three weeks of my seven-week stay. This also affected my access to TV services. On top of that, they charged me a hefty ₹35,000 as a security deposit, which seems arbitrary compared to others who paid as little as ₹6,000. It’s now been three months since I moved out, and I’m still waiting for that deposit to be refunded. Initially, they promised a refund within two months, but that timeline has long passed.
Communication has been a nightmare. I was first assisted by Srishti, who left without notice, and then dealt with Udyalka, the cluster manager, who was unhelpful and unresponsive regarding my refund. The current property manager, Poy, is equally uncommunicative. I even had a friend visit the property to obtain the regional manager’s number, and after promising to expedite my refund, he too has stopped answering calls. I am still awaiting the day when this is processed.
It’s disappointing to see a company that claims to provide excellent service fall short in so many areas. I would not recommend Housr to anyone looking for reliable co-living arrangements. Terrible experience overall—definitely won’t be returning to any of...
Read moreA HUGE SCAM! Me and 3 of my friends stayed there for 2 months during our internship, and the entire time they tried to scam us. They took a security deposit from us, saying they will return it in 60 days, but they haven't done so till now (it has been 90 days+). The residential manager has stopped taking our calls, and on top of that, when we try to contact housr's main office, it has stopped recieving our calls as well. Clearly they have blocked our numbers post complaints. We are down 80k. We have kept the rooms perfectly well and barely even stayed there apart from sleeping there.
They had not informed us how electricity charges, which apparantly needed to be recharged everyday. They did NOT give us control over this recharge feature, and then when we complained about the exorbitant charges, they said they did this "for our convenience". The manager did end up discounting some of the money for this at the end, but it was after a lot of back and forth.
The safety wasnt great either. Their keys would stop working and they would hand us a master key if they did. The watchman would start banging at our door asking for the masterkey at night sometimes. Let's not leave out the fact that the master key could potentially open any door. So at any time, a random person can try and open your door.
If you wish to stay here, beware of the ways they try to scam...
