I stayed at Housr in Sector 27, Gurugram, and while the accommodation was comfortable, my experience has been far from satisfactory due to their handling of the security deposit. Upon moving in, I paid the month's rent and the security amount in advance. The stay itself was okay, but the food provided was just average.
When I vacated the property on 20th August 2024, I was informed that the security deposit would be refunded within 60 days. Now, five months have passed, and I still have not received the refund. I have contacted the caretaker multiple times regarding this matter, and I've also reached out to their cluster manager through calls, WhatsApp, and email. Unfortunately, there has been no response from anyone at Housr.
Such unprofessional behavior from the company is extremely frustrating. It reflects poorly on their integrity and raises serious concerns about the legitimacy of their security deposit scheme. Reason for leaving: slow wifi, high turn around times for issues and complaints but mainly because the laundry services were bizarre. I lost 4 items of clothing and 1 white hoodie turned pink after laundry. The management is not that active with such issues and requires constant followups contrary to the company’s vision of “managed living”
