Hotel Lords Regency — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

This is very worst hotel with cheap mentality staffs and management 1.From day 1 landline is not working since after complaining till we check out Hot water facilty is from morning 7-10 and evening they say it's from 7:30-8:30 (it's just warm water) 3.very poor quality of food(salty,tasteless infact very worst) Candle light dinner was included in our package supposed to be held on 8-nov ,morning before leaving the room gave the key for cleaning and reminded about it and they assured they would do it...but evening nothing was arranged and when we questioned they said will do it tomorrow 5.welcome drinks was suppose to be given according to the package but when questioned they said mam we will adjust to the coffee which u have ordered(let's get to know coffee would be the welcome drink) 6.Again on 9-nov also they didn't arrange they said they would come at 7:30pm to decorate the room we said it's fine...for rest of the services they came and rang the bell ....we waited till 9pm nobody came and rang the bell ,finally when we asked they said mam u didn't come outside and gave the key(which was the very stupid answer we received) As candle light dinner was not arranged we requested them to cancel and reduce in our package ...only thing they did is talking to the management and blaming the customers they didn't come out to arrange When we said we can't pay the full amount as you didn't arrange they made the agent guy through whom we booked the package to hold the return tickets of volvo and flight These guys are very shameless ,they get in to extent of blackmailing clients without having humanity I don't recommend this hotel,kindly don't waste your money...

the hotel location is really good, has 2 entrances (1st and 4th floor) which gives you easy access to everything. First they gave us a room with a round bed, pretty dirty amd uncomfortable for friends sharing a bed, we asked for another one and they didnt hesitate to change it for a really good one, it was brand new, bathroom was great (only issue they have hot water just in the morning), linens werent too clean, we asked for new ones but had stains too so we used ours but no big deal, the rest of the room was spotless. Food at the hotel was ok, we only had breakfast though. They close the doors at 11pm, but since it was new years eve we asked for it and they kept it open for us, really nice of them. The best part of the hotel is the staff, they took such good care of us, were incredible helpful with everything we asked, made us feel at home. The only downside of this hotel are the hallways, its like a maze, no signals, you get lost inside it, and looks like they are going through renovation or something because they were filled with broken furniture and not clean at all...looks kind of creepy, but then again, the staff helps with everything. The hotel is located near victory tunnel in Shimla. It's close to the Kalahari temple.It has a parking of it's own.The hotel rooms are good but short on cleanliness. The curtains were torn and dirty.The glass of one of the window was also broken allowing cold air inside the room.There was lot of dust on the sides of wooden panel along the kids bed.They didn't put towels and soap in the room despite frequent requests.They said that the housekeeping man will come in the evening only.The room service was very slow and poor.The took more than 1/2 an hour for every order and that too was Incomplete.They claim to be nearest to the mall road but that's not the case.They told us that they have a lift which will take u just 200 m short of the mall road, a straight road but that's not the case.The lift is of hotel Lord's Grace which is above this hotel and that too will leave you at a level from where you again have to climb up the stairs to reach Kalibari temple.Mall road is more than 500m from there.At night the path near the hotel is badly illuminated and u will find it difficult to reach the hotel.
