Hotel Yadgar — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

We reached the shimla at 11:30 p.m. in the night by our own Wagon R car..... As soon we reached shimla we were stopped by hotel agents and they insisted us to book the rooms. They asked 11000/- for 2 rooms fir 2 days (including 1 day taxi to kufri), we finalised the deal @9000/-....which they were paid instantly as they insisted and they gave us the bill also. Then they tooks us to the hotel yaadgaar by their own car..... Our Wagon R car was taken by them for parking on the road, later they parked it somewhere around 2 k.m.away. Location of the hotel is congested but okay as not very far from the ridge and mall road, but you have to climb down around 150 steps(very difficult for women and children with suitcases etc) to get to the taxi provided by the travel operator. We called on telephone for breakfast /tea, and they told us that it will be provided @8:30 a.m. but we got it @ 9:45 a.m...... Drinking water was also not provided in the room. Food quality (not good in taste) was not good in comparison to the cost , rooms were not cleaned in the day. "Kundi" of the door of one of the toilet was not working....Taps were giving very less supply of water for very less time (we were told that water was made available with the help of tankers every morning after 8:00 a.m......No fans were on the roof of the rooms which is sometimes needed (to avoid suffocation)as the temperature soars. One of the worst nightmare was acute water shortage in the hotel, Towels and paper soaps etc were also not provided......I will never ever recommend any person to book this hotel....The hotel was true to it's name "yaadgaar"....as I am never going to forget the nightmare I faced during 2 days stay in the hotel with the family and...

⚠️🚫Not recommended. It's a Fraud hotel.⚠️🚫 Their tout will lure you into getting a room, right from the time you get off at the railway station. Next step - He'll tell you the hotel is at a 10 min walk, but wil make you walk for 20-25 minutes, that too on slopy roads and stairs. Will behave live you're in a 5 star hotel but facilities worse than a dormitory. The manager got into my room using the spare key, and turned on the tap when I wasn't there in the room, and when I got back, he started threatening that I had left the tap open and now I'll have to pay a penalty of 3000 rupees. The manager doesn't know how to talk to you once you check in. Rudeness at peak. And yes, he himself admitted that he entered my room without my consent during my absence just for extorting money. Room service - Nil. Stayed there for 3 days and nobody even knocked once or asked us if we wanted the room cleaned. The blankets were smelly. Multiple burn holes, no towels, dirty sofas. It's pathetic and countless issues to deal with here. They'll lure you into paying full amount at check-in itself by quoting a comparatively low price (We got the room at 3100 for 3 days) but then the problems start. They don't care about your stay, rather just about the money. Didn't even care to give us water bottles or glasses, not even a soap. Had to buy water bottles. Had to go down to the reception to get the soap, where the manager was clearly drunk. Please don't get this hotel. Instead take a room on Circular Road. It's a much nicer area with better cheaper rooms, near Hotel Landmark and thereafter. Don't take rooms on the upper mall road. They...

Very Bad experience hotel giving package 3200 to 3500 for stay in hotel and also a car for a day but hotel car stop at one point at kufri where main points in package but car driver I can't go next now from here you need to pay another vehicle for kufri view points approx 4000 to 4500 or horses per person 1500 and he stands there in texi point all the time and second location he said only jakhu mandir then what we mean to pay 2500 rent for car for whole day if he stops at one point so if anyone goes there at any hotel then chose a hotel room and book a car when you want to go anywhere from outer side as I checked next day 800 only for next day when I changed hotel so pay for hotel room and only and take a car from outer side next day when where...
