OYO Barowalia Resorts — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

This is not a resort; it’s an ill kept hotel with worst customer satisfaction. ||I booked this hotel for 3 nights, while booking this hotel I spoke to the owner and I was told that they did not have a parking place but they will make sure that my vehicle is parked where they park their vehicle I was convinced and made online payment through GOIBIBO. When reached there and called the hotel staff and requested for parking I was told If I park my vehicle at the place allocated by them I will be responsible if someone breaks my windshield or any damage to the car happens, I was shocked and had to park my vehicle at a govt parking space and had to pay 750 as parking charges for 3 days(who would want to get their vehicle damaged), I even had to bear the charges for carrying my luggage to and from the hotel till my car.. There were 150 stairs which we climbed to reach the hotel. It’s not fit for any age group..||When I came to the room the bed sheet was super dirty with hairs lying on it and blankets stinking, I requested to change the same but only bed sheet was changed as they did not have blanket.. The room was like a bunker with all packed glasses only 2 windows were opening that too we had to keep them closed as to avoid monkeys from getting in the room, room had no fans...it was quite warm while days. TV was not working and even after continuous request we had to live for 3 days without TV. In our 4 days stay not even a single day the bed sheet was changed neither the room was cleaned nor the dustbin was cleaned and every time we requested we were told the cleaner is not in.. ||Now coming to food.. We just ordered food once as that was well overpriced. One chapatti is for 20 rs and shahi paneer with just 4 pieces of paneer in it that too in a small bowl was for 190 rs, we had all meals outside at better place for reasonable price. Mall road was 2 km from the hotel and that too not an easy climb.||Don’t go by the pics of the hotel as they have just posted the upper portion pics, outside there is dumping ground with 20 monkeys sitting there waiting for you all the time, we very scared to hell every time we used to go out or come in...||All in all I had to stay there for 3 nights as I paid 5,200 rs in advance to book this hotel that was...

Doesn’t even deserve one star . Worst stay I have had in my entire life . The resort doesn’t even have road access . You have to climb god knows how many stairs with all your luggage . You will be asked to pay extra for carrying even one suit case .. reaching Mall Road from there is also a task . You will have to walk through narrow lanes between buildings and it becomes difficult in the night . There are many attacking monkeys near the property . Rooms are not at all clean . We reached shimla in the evening and checked in with a "package" for room and car service for next day paying extra. The room had no Room service. the linens were not clean.
