The WORST hotel stay experience EVER. Me, along with my 13 other friends, had booked 7 rooms in this hotel based on the positive customer reviews and a lot of other factors which seemed perfect. The booking was made 20 days in advance. However, on the day of check-in, the moment we reached the hotel, we were welcomed to the news that the floor on which our rooms were allotted has some issue with the air conditioning. We waited at the check-in counter for a good 1 hour asking for an alternative. Since, we had plans for the day and did not wanted it to hampered with, we asked the guys at the reception to atleast allot us 2 rooms so that we can go, keep our bags, freshen up and leave for the sight seeing thingy that we had planned. Even after being out the entire day, the air conditioning problem wad not resolved and we were left with our bags without a place to stay in the middle of the night. It was only later that we came to know that rooms were given to people or rather local couples who had checked-in after us without a prior booking and with the air conditioning working. This was completely wrong and we asked to have a word with the manager who after knowing this goof-up had the audacity to switch off his cell phone and go home. This is clear case of fraud and the employees working there are utter fools who have no idea whatsoever about their job profile or rather what customer service means. Highly disappointed. Read moreBEWARE! Nightmarish experience. I have traveled considerably and have stayed at many medium budget hotels but never experienced a service as appalling as the one at the Surabhi hotel, the so-called "OYO Premium 066 Kothapet."
Issues I faced: Ac stinks, so does the filthy washroom. On top of that, the bathroom door won't close. Thus the room always had a unique twin-stink, one from the bathroom and the other from the ac.
Not one room service, not one, done in the three days that I stayed. Dustbin had filled beyond capacity, bathroom had got filthy. May be they expect the guests to clean their own rooms. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE.
-They tried to charge me for the complimentary breakfast as I had it delivered to my room. Made absurd excuses when I asked for a valid bill.
Found two tiny cockroaches on my my breakfast table the next day. The ac is never turned on leaving the hall too suffocating to even stay and you are supposed to eat there.

Read moreI stayed for 3days recently. Hotel was clean and the staff was very courteous and nice. However few small issues I would like to mention, details below:||1. Late response when you call reception||2. Frequent deactivation of the room door access card which is really annoying when you are tired and want to go to the room, you need to go and activate every time when it happens. For me each day like 2 or 3times this happened. ||3. They promised to give us king-size bed room but we ended with and adjusted with separate beds. ||4. There is no good communication between the staff and so I had to explain the same issue everytime to the next person who change the duty at reception. ||5. Food and water charges are very expensive (double thn normal price) ||6. Very poor WiFi signals. When you have any urgent work on laptop then this will really not helpful to you. ||7.Frequent TV signal issues and poor quality remote you will struggle little. ||||Otherwise hotel is good for staying. ||Above issues are small and can be easily fixed to lift the standard...
