I recently visited Palamuru Grill, Kotahpet and it turned out to be a delightful culinary experience.
Ambience & Parking: The restaurant has a neat and welcoming ambience, making it perfect for family dining as well as casual get-togethers. One big plus point is the ample parking space, which is very convenient in a busy area like Kotahper.
Food & Taste:
Soup (Pottel Paya Soup): Absolutely wonderful – rich, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. A must-try, especially for paya lovers.
Starters (Nalli Ghost): The Nalli Ghost starter was stupendous – tender, well-cooked, and infused with authentic spices that highlight the Palamuru style of cooking.
Main Course (Mutton Dalcha): The mutton dalcha was another standout – wholesome, aromatic, and paired beautifully with rice or roti.
Service: The staff is polite, attentive, and quick to serve. They ensure you’re comfortable and guide you well through the menu if you’re trying something for the first time.
Overall Experience: Palamuru Grill brings authentic Telangana flavors with a touch of home-style cooking. The menu is thoughtfully curated for meat lovers, especially those who enjoy traditional recipes prepared in a modern dining setup.

Here’s what I ordered: Natu Kodi Curry: The chicken curry was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. The tender chicken pieces were cooked to perfection, and the aromatic spices made it a standout dish.
Garlic Naan: The naan was soft, fluffy, and had just the right amount of garlic flavor. It paired wonderfully with the curry.
Ulavacharu Pulav: This traditional Andhra-style pulav was a revelation! The fragrant rice, slow-cooked with horse gram, lent a unique taste that I thoroughly enjoyed.
Mutton Biryani: The biryani was a true masterpiece. The succulent mutton pieces were layered with fragrant basmati rice and aromatic spices. Each bite was a burst of flavors!
Double Ka Meetha: A sweet ending to my meal! This bread pudding dessert was soaked in sugar syrup and topped with nuts. It was the perfect balance of sweetness and texture.
Gulab Jamun with Ice Cream: The classic gulab jamun paired with a scoop of ice cream was heavenly. The warm, syrup-soaked jamun combined with the cold ice cream was a match made in dessert heaven.
The ambiance at Palamuru Grill is cozy, and the service is attentive. I recommend this restaurant if you are planning for your dinner or lunch...
Read moreCons:- 1.Accepting orders very late(only one person available for entire restaurant) If you go with group not even single dish will be sufficient for you people even you keep rs 900 per item including starters and every thing. 3.Regular biryani and pulaos are serving in small curry dishes that are not even sufficient for single person. 4.non veg quantity is also very less in everything even if you keep 900rs for kunda chicken pulao family pack you hardly get 5 to 6 chicken pieces and again you have to order curry separately to eat that with extra charge and less quantity. Ordered kunda chicken pulao family pack they gave plain bagara rice with 5 to 6 boiled chicken pieces. 6.The order menu was also very confusing. More than 70 percent of menu was not available when we went for lunch. 8.No proper response from staff and very low staff available even it is Sunday. After 4pm there are saying no dineout options available for payment without informing and mentioning in priority. Very irresponsible behaviour and answers from everyone .they are saying you can do what ever you want to do time is up.
Pros:- 1.Bill is very fast . 2.Some veg items like paneer...
