OYO 10168 Hotel AVS Sweet Magic — Hotel in Hyderabad

The place is visible from main road and has good connectivity options both by road and metro (JNTU station) which is just 200m away. Food options are many nearby and morning complimentary breakfast is good too (if booked from OYO). But the rooms have no window and just a small exhaust opening in bathroom which acts as ventilation for the whole room. Sheets were not properly washed with oil stains visible. The staff when told about the same just stated the fact that it is an oil stains and we can't do anything about it. Now comes the interesting part. We booked 3 rooms and all the room had bed bugs in them. We requested change in rooms and still found bed bugs in new rooms too. Disappointing service by both the hotel staff and OYO team. Even water was an issue in the morning as 2 rooms did not get water for bathing purposes and when staff was informed, they sent us two water bottles after a wait if 20min!! What a joke. I seriously suggest not to book room here and OYO should delist this property (unless their standards have slipped and we can expect hotels like these to be the norm in...

The service is abysmal. I haven't seen a more apathetic lot in the hospitality sector. Our taps went dry at 6.30 in the morning. Repeated calls to the housekeeping were left unattended, while the reception took no action. When we asked for an extension of stay to get ready for a function we're attending, the staff had the audacity to ask us to rebook on the app. The manager too was apathetic to our requests, and asked us to change the property if we're discontented.

This isn't an isolated incident though. We asked the room service to refil our bottles with some drinking water last night, and they just disappeared with the bottles. Luckily, we found them in the common room, and refilled from a water dispenser nearby.

The sheets aren't clean, nor is the washroom, and the common areas are better not being in. I'm not kind to nitpick these, if there was something nice to talk about. Unfortunately, there isn't anything.

The WiFi is decent, the Pongal in the breakfast buffet too, but they're not worth facing this...

Very hard to identify the hotel, from outside hotel name looks like AVS HOTELS "SWEET MAGIC". Coming to hotel its very good,roadside location,always availability of autos,buses n cabs. Ground floor has a sweetmagic bakery,1st floor with restaurant,2nd n 3rd floor got rooms. Rooms were small but has all facilities like wifi,hotwater,mini fridge,ac,super lock door system,24hrs room service. Bad thing is 'check in' & check out timings... there were fixed to 12pm-11am.... it should be of customer choice so that it could be very convinient to customer(i waited for 4hrs to get the room,went at 8am n waited till 12pm).
