Utterly Disappointing and Unacceptable Stay - Avoid at All Costs ​My recent stay at this property was, without question, the worst hotel experience I have ever encountered. This review details severe, fundamental failures in hygiene, basic amenities, and customer service. ​Critical Hygiene and Facility Failures: The state of the room was unacceptable. The general room hygiene was visibly poor, with signs of neglect and dirt. The situation was compounded by the presence of a cockroach in the room. Furthermore, the bathroom facilities were severely substandard: the wash basin was broken and unusable, and there was no hand spray available in the toilet, a basic and necessary item. ​Lack of Essential Service: Beyond the physical state of the room, the basic necessities and service were non-existent. There was no drinking water provided in the room upon arrival. Trying to resolve this and other issues was met with bad service from the staff, characterized by unprofessionalism and difficulty in getting attention. ​Unacceptable Management Attitude: The most shocking aspect of the stay was the response to our critical, justified complaints. When we detailed the hygiene and facility issues, the owner demonstrated complete arrogance, displaying no regret or concern whatsoever for our terrible experience. I stayed in this so called 3 star Hotel with my wife for 5 days. It was horrible staying in this Hotel. Right from check-in we had bitter experiences. After a point of time, there was no fun telling all these issues to the management as they were counter arguing and even stated that I was the only person who complained about amenities, service, food etc., in the last few years.

The food was the worst I had in my life. I had No other choice but to eat only Dosa in the morning for 3 days. No other items. The Chutney was very watery and Sambar was unbearable. Coffee was reasonable. Tea was not at all acceptable.

No lights in the bathroom. No hangers in the cupboard. Only one plug point in the room. There was heavy noise from the air-conditioner. The linens were dirty and stinky. During our 5 days stay they did not even change the linens once. Only once the room was cleaned and mopped.

No Water provided for drinking despite repeated requests.

The dining area was stinking. Most of the time the area was dark. I had to switch on the lights and fans many a time.

In general, it is not an ideal place for staying. The room rent (tariff) was quite high, and no value for money spent. The GM was not courteous. He always justified his roles and counter-argued for everything. In total, the stay was unpleasant.

I will never ever visit this Hotel nor will I recommend the Hotel Boban Residency.

Shocked to see that this hotel is being shown as 3star hotel on Google. Rooms are not worth more than 500 bucks. Rooms are stinky and in dilapidated condition. Bathrooms are dirty, linen were unclean and of bad quality. Furniture is yuck, you cant use them. Dirty interiors, walls, torn towels, spotted matresses. No drinking water and bath kit provided. Only one towel between 3 people. When asked for extra towel, they repllied 1 towel can be shared by husband wife and child. Dont go by its exterior, interior is very much shady. Totally disappointed, had to check in this hotel bcoz it was booked by somebody else for me and i reached late night and need to leave early. Better to go for any online hotel. The room was dirty and uncomfortable. "I would advise you not to stay in the hotel where I had a terrible experience. You would definitely regret for staying in this hotel, if you ever stay here. I urge others to take the reviews into consideration before booking at this hotel. All rooms are very darty.
