Hotel Aariyaas Regency — Hotel in Kerala

I didn't stay at Aariyas grand but ate dinner at this place. We were 5 and it was already 9:50 PM. They were about to close for the day. The waiter obliged us and I asked for the menu. He didn't give me one and uttered only 4-5 items which were available at that hour. I must appreciate the willingness to serve patrons when you are about to close. Secondly we had no choice as Kottayam has fewer pure veg options 3-4 and Aariyas is one of them. If you are a pure vegetarian you will suffer in Kerala. Remember this place which could be your saviour. I am thankful to the staff and owner for serving pure vegetarian people like us. Else, we will have to settle down for just fruits 😂. Food is good, I would rate it 3.5 /5. We got Jeera rice and daal fry , as it was the only remaining item apart from fried rice. I am not a great fan of Chinese anyway. I was on a personal visit to meet one of my friends in Kottayam and had stayed here from 30th septa 2023 till 2nd oct 2023.

The rooms are neat, washroom was neat, hot water, toothbrush, paste, kettle to heat water, coffee powder, and milk powder sachets and even though this place was situated right next to the Kottayam railway station and right on the main road, there was no sounds reaching my room.

It was that peaceful.

The only issue i found was with the parking which is around 40 steps away from the hotel which was a big yard which was walled, but it was not covered to protect from rain (i was on a bike. But everything else was good, the restaurant could be entered from the reception area and the reception staff (Umesh, Asha) were very professional and courteous.

Definitely one of the finest stays in Kottayam town! (Finest in my opinion). Newly established and rooms and the infrastructure are in excellent condition. The rooms are near business class in almost every aspect (I doubt if they have WiFi). Situated right outside the Kottayam railway station, it is easily accessible to the general public and the staff is very courteous to facilitate easy check in and check out; no hassles whatsoever. Their restaurant is adjoint to the building where the stays are located and the food served there is purely vegetarian and pretty good. Let's hope they maintain the quality and service for times to...
