We, Mr and Mrs Iyer, senior citizens from Mumbai had called the hotel for booking our room. Mr. Mohan Das assured that all facilities are there and we will not have any problems during our stay.||But, the projection what was given to us about the hotel is very very untrue. We were put into lot of hardship during our stay. There was no hot drinking water in the room. Also the hot water service in the bathroom was not at all available. We had to repeatedly call the reception in the morning for hot water in the bath room. After waiting for 30 to 45 we were given half a bucket of lukewarm water for two of us.||Also our room rate was inclusive of complimentary breakfast, we were told that the breakfast will start at 7.00am. But to our surprise, when we went to the restaurant at 7am, we were not given a cup of coffee. We had to plead the person there to give a cup of coffee atleast.||This is the treatment we, as senior citizens, got from the hotel.||Also the staff at the reception was Very Very Rude. They had no manners to help the customers and they had no respect for us.||I hope the Management of Elite International Hotel will look into the matter and compensate us for the discomforts we had to face during our stay.||For information, we were charged Rs.2240 per day which is on a higher side when there is no basic facility at all in the room. We are pensioners and the rent of Rs.2240 without basic facility and no Breakfast is definitely on the higher side.||I hope and look forward to be duly compensated.||We had stayed in Pathans Hotel and Pooram International hotel earlier and they gave us very good treatment.||I hope to get a favorable reply and compensation.||I spoke to Mohan Das regarding the hardship faced by us during our stay. He assured us that he will look into the matter and call me back. But 3 days has passed, I have not received any call from him.||I am indeed upset that my pension amount has gone waste. Although we hadn’t booked a room, we clearly saw there was availability online. We asked the receptionist for a room, he said there wasn’t any available. We showed him that there was availability online, and he then quickly said there was availability for only AC rooms. The price he gave was extremely inflated. We insisted that he give us the non-AC room as was clearly listed online, however he quickly changed the online status to “not available”. In disgust we walked out of the hotel. This is awful customer service. The receptionist should be ashamed of himself for trying to extort money out of two foreigners to his city. He couldn’t even find the decency to be honest when faced with a pregnant woman who was so clearly tired after travel. Never in my life have i experienced such inhospitable and dishonest behaviour from a well-established hotel before. Read moreRestaurant review only - Was one of the nice restaurants here. But now because of their success the staff became very rude. You will be served only after 30minutes minimum. If you call them, they will get angry, I have told one supplier that we were waiting almost 45 minutes on table and we were with 2 kids. The answer the main guy shouted to supplier was if cannot wait they can go. Its not an an answer you may like to hear after waiting 45 minutes. They pack people even near family sits, ours was four people table with one side sofa, there was another people and on sofa there was 4 people and they were thinking to put a chair between 2 tables. People are coming because of their old name which the people working now is spoiling. The main suppliers are so rude that we asked to pack the leftover of one dish his face became so angry, I wouldn't have asked if its so. The food standard also came down as we asked for a pork item, the pork pieces were not warm and masala was hot.
