Karma Beach Resort — Hotel in Kerala

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Karma Beach Resort in Kovalam, Kerala, and it was truly a memorable experience. The highlight of our entire Kerala trip was undoubtedly the breathtaking view that this resort offered. Sam, our gracious host, was always just a call or message away, making our stay even more convenient. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free.

Our room, with its attached balcony, provided us with a mind-blowing view of the surroundings. It was incredibly spacious and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. The presence of amenities such as shampoo, soap, and towels was a thoughtful touch.

One of the best aspects of this resort is its proximity to the beach and the lighthouse. We could easily walk to all the nearby eateries, making it convenient to explore the area.

However, there were a couple of minor areas for improvement. It would be great if the resort could provide a better blanket or quilt option, as the temperature dropped quite a bit during our stay, and we felt a bit chilly. Additionally, the spring mattress was less comfortable compared to a firmer one, which affected our sleep quality. While the linens were clean, we noticed some old stains.

Sam was a fantastic help when it came to renting a scooty, which added to the overall convenience of our trip. In summary, Karma Beach Resort in Kovalam offers excellent value for money and outstanding hospitality. This trip was our first to India and after the surprise of Udaipur and the cold weather we decided to travel to the sun.||We booked one night in Kovalam and the place was not clean so we searched the area and found the Karma Ayurvedic resort just around the corner within 10 yards of the beach front.||We cannot believe our luck, this place was incredible with very high standards, cleanliness a priority, comfortable beds, air con, laundry service, taxi service for day trips and delightful owners who really took time to see that our stay was perfect.||We intended to stay a week and ended up staying over two weeks then travelled North to Agra and Jaipur (again it was cold especially at night!) and thankfully we had booked with Sam to return to the Karma, spending yet another blissful 10 days here.||You are right on the beach front, far enough away for peace and quiet though.||Cannot recommend this place highly enough, hope you are lucky enough to find a room here as it will make your stay a...

Small hotel with spacious rooms on the beach line facing partially ocean and partially narrow street where you can always have shade and feel the fresh ocean breeze when sitting on the balcony. ||||Very helpful staff for anything you may need. ||||Also relatively new and very clean in comparison with most of other hotels available by the beach in Kovalam.||They clean the room and change towels every day as well as change the bedding in about of every 3 days.||||Internet was also good. ||||The balcony was opposite to the entrance door in the room so if both left open than you can feel quite cool and nice at night without using air condition or fan which may create noise, instead you can listen to the waves of the ocean.
