My family had an wonderful experience in this hotel The location is especially remarkable it’s is near to Trivandrum central railway and Trivandrum ksrtc bus station all are walking distance And u can book online via their website or third party website or app and you can find good deal but if you book online u can check in around 12pm and check out also 12 pm. It’s recommended to book room in advance as it is always full

Rooms are excellent and well maintained and they will offer free WiFi,tea and coffee machine,comb,shaving set,toothbrush and toothpaste and 24 hours hot water Well cleaned and maintained by kerala government and

They have two options with breakfast and without breakfast and better to book without breakfast as it is in centre of Trivandrum.u can find lot of hotels which offer wide variety of breakfast like Indian coffee house masala dosa and tea which just 1 minutes walkable

And also you can order online through Swiggy and Zomato and only think that u need to go and collect outside hotel.

Well connected transportation.opposite to this hotel u can find taxi stand and auto stand and also bus stand where you can find ksrtc bus to all parts of city and also u can check in google map and can find correct bus numbers and Trivandrum people are friendly and they are ready to help you always

Don’t forget to ask WiFi password they will give you one vouchers which you can find username and password

Room price are little high but it’s worth staying if you are staying with family.clam and quite ate

Some other will have bad images like it’s Kerala government property we cannot except more .but it will change your mind set.it’s is one one the excellent well maintained hotels like private hotels how they are maintaining they are maintaining like that .I recommend to others also.staff are super courteous and good behaviour Ola and Uber service also available to other parts of cities

We booked this hotel based on the recent reviews which is almost 5 out of 5. At the hotel we felt it true. The reception and checking into the room was very quick and it was very cordial. The room service was excellent. The room and bathroom are very neat and clean. Bathroom is fitted with latest fittings . Good car parking space with security guard is available for parking about 15-20 cars. The property is a multistorey building and it is well maintained. As the entrance is blocked by taxies and Auto-rickshaws, the entrance is not prominently visible. The reception area is very big. Though it is not furnished like other private hotels ,you will feel the grandness when you enter into the reception area. Breakfast is complementary.The varieties available - south Indian foods like ldli,vada Puri, dosa etc and other foods like bread , butter,jam,eggs, corn flakes and milk , fruit juices, cut fruits,tea and coffee- are tasty and they are more than sufficient for a highly satisfying breakfast.The services at the restaurant is simply superb. This property is owned by the Government of Kerala and the present services at the hotel is very good. The hotel is situated just 300 mts from Trivandrum central railway station and 100 mts. from central bus Important places like Padmanabha Swamy temple,Zoo , museum are within 2-3 Kms. and transportation to these places are available at the door step at a very reasonable cost. Check-in check out time is 24 hours. It seems that with their permission you can overstay for 1-2 Hours in case of train delays etc. If you book through on-line platform it may vary. We stayed there in the last week of Jan 2020 and they offered 20 percent discount on rent. In short, we had a pleasant stay at the hotel and we felt as if we were in our home. The KTDC Grand Chaitram, Thiruvananthapuram is a government hotel which provides quality services at affordable tariffs.||The hotel is located in the centraI Trivandrum which is the older part of the city on the main road. The Trivendrum Central Railway Station is right accross the road and Thampanoor Bus stand is adjacent to the hotel. Yet the road is remarkably congestion-free and quite. You won't hear street noise in your room. This part of the city is very well connected to all other parts of the city. |The drive to hotel from airport took around 45 minutes. Please remember that Uber & Ola are available in three or four large cities of the state. The checkin was fast and we had to wait for around 15 minutes before we were ushered into our room. We stayed from 30th May to 1st June in superior room at fourth floor . It contains a sitting room and a bed room. The rooms are spacious and have all amenities. The laundry service is fast and reasonably priced. Though there is definitely a huge language barrier, the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and house keeping is good. A small private parking is available. ||The food quality and the buffet breakfast spread are average. A quicker response to service requests is desired.||The location is top notch. Most of the tourist place like Napier Museum, Zoo, Aquarium, Art Gallery, Kanakakunnu Palace, Science and Technology Museum, Planetarium etc. are within 5 km.
