FabHotel JS Heritage — Hotel in Kodaikanal

Even though the hotel is located in the heart of the small hill town, nestled in it's busy bazaar area; but the service & rooms are not good at all. We had booked it as a place to just dump our luggage on the last day of our trip for a few hours between checking out from our original resort and boarding the bus. When we went to check in, the lady at the reception made us wait till the manager came down after having his food (at his own sweet pace). The hotel doesn't have elevator, so we had to trudge up the stairs to the 3rd floor to our room. The room was cold, damp and not welcoming at all. The bathroom was unimpressive and equally cold. When asked, they said their wi-fi isn't working. And even though we spent most of the time roaming around the town & came back to the room only for a couple of hours before checking out to catch our bus; we almost froze (even under the blankets) in that time - the room was so cold & damp.|Would advise you to avoid the hotel if you have better options or can shell out higher for rooms at some...

Had visited this place 2 days back. One of my worst experiences I had in this place. I'm a traveller basically. Have never faced this kind of treatment in any of my trips.

Rooms: Old abandoned home. Room gives a dull look. Washrooms are similar to Fuel station restroom. There are much better stays on that road. After seeing the room, i immediately walked off and checked in to nearby hotel called "Seven roads" which is far better.

Service: No proper planning. We went in a package trip where all site seeing were included. But drivers were not co-operative, guide was not assigned, completely wasted 2 nights and 3 days. Very poor management.

Location: Right next to main road. No parking place, no space, no ventilation in rooms. Totally not worth it in Kodaikanal as many better places available.

If you want to have a good stay and time and enjoy your vacation, then avoid this place...

J'S heritage was booked thru goibibo at total cost of Rs. 1000.upon reaching to hotel they informed us that rooms were fully booked in J'S heritage. Hence they directed us to go to some other old hotel. We denied to go to another hotel and asked about the money that we paid through goibibo. Then receptionist talked very rudely and told that neither amount will be refunded nor room will be provided in the hotel which we booked.

We have booked rooms on 27-09-2021 to checkin on 02-10-2021.Only after reaching hotel on 02-10-2021 they asked us to go to some other hotel JAYRAJ RESIDENCY which is worse than a slum area. No power, hygiene, bad smell was coming from washrooms and bedsheets. Even no transport was provided to go to another hotel.The per day cost for that another hotel was 500 which was half of the amount which was...
