One of the nicer places in kodai to chill and spend a cold evening at. Wonderful ambience with a fire place (don't see that many of them around) also other good things are: Nice comfortable quilt cushion seats which give the place a traditional touch and are extremely comfortable. Quite an interesting collection of books to read and celebrate some time off by yourself. Lovely soft background music makes the plane lively. Collection all the way from Bryan Adams to pink floyd makes you transition over the spectrum of time! Their food is good. Tea with nice muncheez makes your day. There's wonderful family like ambience which makes things all the nicer! And just to add to it, it seems to be run by a family. They also sell local jams and honey. I know there are similar shops, but display here is quite exciting.
Other than this, I've just one recommendation. While they were kind enough to allow as to use their washroom, they really need to invest in one. This is fairly important considering that most of their customers want to spend reasonable time at the place doing work, reading are maybe just feeling nice! Important thing is that they want to spend some time and having a washroom is important for that!
Other than that, it's a wonderful and perhaps the best place to try in kodai and spend some good time. The fact that they have some issues with washroom does not make me reduce their 5 stars to anything lower. Ordered spinach sandwich, fries, hot chocolate, cold coffee, chilli garlic butter pasta, vegetable burger, veg green sandwich All tasted fab, I liked the cold cofee in cold weather, and it was strong.
While you wait, for your order to be ready, you can keep yourself busy with some board games without getting bored.
You walk in alone, introvert types?, you can read few novels, there is a small collection
Fancy yourself with music ? there are drums that you can play. We did play the jumanji music, but the board games didnt suck us in, but we were sucked into the good taste of all dishes ordered.
Decent quantities, rs 300 to 350 per person it costs for a decent fill. What is decent , well 75% tummy full, but it is recommended scientifically that we eat that much

There are couple of parking spots outside , which is on a slope. If you come in a car, apply hand break and gear, otherwise your car might tumble down, and you might be towed to the police station..

Muncheez is one of the good cafe bistro present in the main bazaar road area in Kodaikanal. Its menu comprises of mainly cafe food like burger , sandwiches, pasta, and hot and cold beverages.
We ordered their special chicken sandwiches , burger, finger fries , ginger lemon tea, and cappuccino. They made us wait for around 20mins to prepare the food, and that is good . They freshly prepare the food . Their food generally has locally sourced vegetables and live stock. The food tasted very good. When you order please talk to the staff and aak them to explain the ingredients of the dish .
The staff is very well behaved. Please come to this restaurant before 7 pm . Most of the time they stop taking orders after 7pm. In the weekends this place becomes very crowded.
They don’t have a washroom here for customers, but they have one washroom outside which is used by the staff. They should have a washroom for customers. They do have a handwash area.
They don’t have a dedicated parking space. Customers can park their car in the adjacent Poet Thyagaraja road , or the bazaar main road . Finding a parking is very difficult in this area.
