Hotel Sunrise — Hotel in Madhya Pradesh

We arrived in the evening in orchha and were absolutely out of money because of the current money situation. We didn't even ask for a discount or anything, were just talking about the currency problem and the owner invited us for a free night, wow... what can I say? That's more then amazing. I'm super grateful and happy that there are still such amazing people in this world. Couldn't find words! |The room he offered us was huge, big bed and warm shower. Hotel Sunrise is just okay, nothing great. I have stayed in much better hotels for this price. It is located near main temples as Orchha is a small town. Better to spend a little more and get a good hotel. ||They don't have a restaurant. Breakfast was included in my room booking but they gave just a plate of Poha for that. Stayed here on a roadtrip through Madhya Pradesh. The proprietor was very accommodating, he allowed us bring our dog along and went out of his way to make us feel at home. The rooms are clean & basic with hot showers - with breakfast included. The price is right and the location very convenient with most of the attractions a short walk away.
